    On the subject spoken of in the Q&A - the paradox of designing in inaccuracy - and the embracing of tolerance - the comparison of this to a Georgian block full of deviations within a recognised whole. It is something I am also interested in. Do you not think that the architect's role in this instance, is attempting to emulate the hands of many designers operating within the context of a larger frame, in this case that of a masterplanned block?
    In a sense, the architect is attempting to simulate chance, via exacting design. There's something problematic about that I feel.
