There's definitely a delay. I've gotten about 6,000 streams total but it says $0.00. (Uploaded in July and August) I think that would be about $18, but better than nothing. :/

Let say I have money in my account I want to withdraw . However, a few people haven’t accepted their split invite. Am I now withdrawing their portion ? Say 1 person out of the 3 people involved accepts their invite . Does distrokid give them their cut even tho not everyone apart of the project accepted the invite ?

They don’t have a set date to pay out. The streaming royalties have a 3 month delay until they show up on your account. You can pay out the money to yourself using their website at any time

Yes it will be in the bank section of your account, once you fill it up you can withdraw it.

yes, you will need to provide some tax info since they are technically paying you. Basically you give them your US tax id or foreign tax id if you’re more a US citizen.
Hey, if distrokid shows a song got a certain amount of views, does that mean it's already calculated the amount of money it made? Or does it show views before updating the revenue amount? I had a song that previously had like 900 streams total go to 1.2 million in like a month but only shows it made 2 dollars. I was wondering if it glitched out or if maybe those streams are being calculated from tiktok which doesn't pay per stream but per video it's used in. Anyway, it seems odd so I was hoping someone knew why it did this?
I'm actually facing same situation and looking for answer! My question is absolutely same as yours as I have registered 200K views, but earning is just about 70$. Not sure why this is happening, but hope to find answer to it. If you figure out what is the reason, please share it here 🙌
Yeah it usually takes 3 month delay I’m dealing with that also so when u goto bank on distro kid it’ll show you what month it’s on like right now it’s about to be august but distrokid payouts are doing may to June right now if that makes sense

i can’t edit my bank info on distrokid! the page is frozen whenever i try to edit it and i cant click on anything. it keeps telling me to contact support, i already did - i sent distrokid and tipalti, but both of them just kept leading me back into the frozen page. hope anyone would be able to suggest anything or help on this!! thank you!!!

What about income tax if you live in the US? Does distrokid report your earnings or do you?
Yeah I think they send out a 1099 if I remember right and you add this to your taxes.

I've been reading in many forums and on the web and also in the comments below this video that Distrokid's earnings often don't match with spotify streams. Is this true? I see your artist profile on spotify and I see that you have many plays, around 28,000 per month. Does Distrokid pay you for these streams or is it not reliable?
The whole industry is a little tough to police because it takes so long for stream money to come in. Up to 3 months delay but yes you go get paid for these streams and there are ways to back check but the other difficult thing is the payout rate for a stream also changes so this will also affect your earnings.

Hey Peyton, exactly. Whatever distributor you end up going with, they'll put your song on Spotify and this will generate an artist profile for you. Which you then go and have to claim on spotify for artists.

Yes, this is possible. I think what you're looking for is youtube content id monetization. You can do this with distroKid. What happens if someone goes and uses your song in their video and the monetize it, then you will get some of that money.

Yes it might take a while for your bank to start showing money because of the delay in streams so don't worry that my mom show up eventually
They’ll scam you with Royalties. I’ve got over 60k organic streams on Spotify 10k on Apple Music all before June. They are supposedly updated and I only have $37 to cashout

I have had over 4M streams in the last 12 months and they have not pay me for them. Theres been multiple months disappeared not reported on multiple albums singles and EPs. Some of these EPs have almost a million streams on my projects
