I run a non profit rescue in the Midwest. Chris is the real deal with these dogs. I’ve watched a few of these now and several of the actors/actresses pretend to like the dogs because they are supposed to and it “looks good” but they have no real connection. Chris not only loved dogs but he was understanding of the way they think and what they need to be comfortable
I fantasized how I I were a celebrity and asked to do one of these interviews they'd be filming the top of my head because I'd just lay down and let all the puppies climb all over me and snuggle them.
I saw the puppy interview with Keanu Reeves! He's another one who has a genuine affection for dogs!

6:48 I love this. I worked at a dog kennel for a while and there was this one older Rottweiler who didn’t trust strangers. The day he finally walked up to me and asked me to pet him was just the best day of my life. And then after that he became just a big baby who wanted endless love and snuggles lol

The puppies did their thing and had a good time plopping and wallowing and tail wagging all over him, and he was so sweet to the older dogs and really knew their needs.
