Facts I would say it’s a clash of styles. Both him and Rick Carlisle are amazing basketball minds. Sadly he’s been injury prone after tearing his acl and glad to see him win one before the Celtics. Great player and I can see him being a J Kidd like guy in this current later stages of career. That defense and improved 3 point shooting is huge!

Winning a championship with someone you have chemistry with is much better than winning with a guy you grew up watching, AD grew up watching both of them but has more chemistry with Rondo with that one time in New Orleans

Rajon Rondo brought two new things to the table this year:
1. A impressive physique and functional strength. He should maintain this for the coming year.
2. Excellent shooting. I feel as Rajon practices more shots and moves he will evolve into a geseriois serious scoring threat this year.
Lakers need to develop their ball movement, man movement. They can become much better.
Man has an amazing bball IQ. He sees what the opponents are giving him and makes them PAY! Glad he's a Laker!

Unless he decides to retire and seek a coaching job this offseason, I definitely see Rondo coming back for one more year of LBJ and AD (if AD decides to exercise his player option). Was EASILY the 3rd best player on the team during the postseason and pretty much made social media junkie Kuzma an expendable asset in the process, lol.
The three of them should come back and make a run, Rondo can take easy on season games, and let the dog out in the playoffs.

I'm gonna say it, Rondo was the Lakers' 3rd best player in the playoffs in 2020!!! This dude is one of the most underrated players. Lebron has never had a better backup point guard in his career. I remember Lebron in Cleveland even with Kyrie Irving talking about still needing another playmaker. You never heard LeBron asking for another playmaker while playing with RAJON RONDO. People who say the Lakers didn't want to keep Rondo are idiots who don't understand the business aspect of the NBA. The Lakers didn't have the money to keep him.

As a Celtic fan.. This may be the only year it felt dam good to see the Lakers win the championship. mainly for Kobe and Gigi but also for Rondo .. I always considered him the best PG in the league for how he played in the post season and for that will forever be his fan! I am sure long time laker fans knew how good Rondo was especially since the 2010 finals, but this year its nice to see him being recognized as probably the number 2 smartest IQ behind LBJ.
