- This week I'm back in the shed trying to get another order out the door but the workshop seems to have other ideas.

For the last 20 years I've been collecting equipment that makes small scale manufacturing possible. Sometimes referred to as boutique manufacturing, I've set up a number of workstations that enable us to turn out commercial quality electronic products in a 150 Square foot home based manufacturing space. The age of this equipment sometimes creates its own challenges, but then again, sometimes I think I enjoy tinkering on them more than actually using them for their intended purpose.
We are currently building a number of specialized audio products for amusement parks - Jak na to + styl
These production runs in the shop take time away from our carnival ride restorations, but they also help fund them. Double Edged Sword. Check out our restoration projects here: czcams.com/play/PL9JRE2uksm9tonX17TZt38K6RH2EnDNf1.html

Seeing a new Pete Rondeau video in my feed makes me very happy!
Glad to hear it!
That's Impressive, Pete! And glad to hear you are feeling better! Do more uploads pls
I learned some things. I have a shed machine shop full of old tools.
Always look forward to your videos, no matter what they are about!
I really appreciate hearing that!
Watching Sleeperdude!!!! Love it! This seems like a mirror of my stuff, except I don't have an electronics factory in my garage. I do have stuff that breaks. Stuff that breaks for no reason. Stuff that breaks without me touching it and I have to fix that stuff no matter why it breaks! LOL
I've always got CZcams playing in the shop and I have a wide variety of interests. Never know what you're gonna see in the background! lol
Some days your the Louisville slugger and some days your the ball. But I know you will work through it. Good video.
That's pretty clever, you should dust off one of those guitars and write a song!
Hey Pete I haven’t seen or heard from you …. Just checking in on you … I love your channel and I do look forward on seeing your videos… take care friend. 😊
I _do_ like the carnival ride restoration videos, but this micro-production for electronic products really interests me too.
Glad to hear it. There are only so many hours in the day so if I want to make a video, I pretty much have to make it about whatever I'm working on at that point in time. And, of course, the ride restoration has stretched on way too long because of it so I'm glad to hear there is still support out there! Thanks!
Makes me feel better about myself when I see a genius like Pete make a simple, dumb mistake. (Just push that back. It'll be good) 😊
You keep a lot calmer than I do in those situations. I did think it was 'Jedi' Pete when you showed up with hood up but I'm guessing you were cold in there with no heat.
Your videos are better than TV so I always look forward to a new one. Keep them coming Pete !!
There were a few choice swear words when I realized I had been sold a returned unit but I like to keep it family friendly here. Thanks for watching!
I know the ride restoration is your passion but for me at least, I'm enjoying this kind of videos at least as much. I actually found you from small parts organisation videos actually.
Glad to hear it!
Beautiful machine. Wish I had one like that. Wish I was closer to help out
As a maker/small business owner that does similar type of work but also has an interest in amusement rides I’d like to see more of it. Even if you did it on a second channel.
Was wondering...hope better. In Gibtown for maybe a few hours..great episode!
Install a mini-split A/C unit and make a video about it :)
I have considered this and it may be in the future. Our AC from the last two summers is not really doing the job.
I wish I'd known about your products a few years ago when I was still working in haunted houses.
Always amazing seeing the assembly line, very nice pick´n place machine! For the drive, I bet the driving circuit of the breaking FET has a problem too...
Thanks, I believe it is something like that as well. I haven't traced the circuit yet- I'm hopeful it leads to the logic card rather than being embedded in the power module. Time will tell.
Action packed video, glad to hear that you are feeling better!
Yes, much. I was never really bad, a few minor symptoms- but the big issue was it just stripped all my motivation. Glad that is over with.
Glad you're feeling better.
Me Too!
"Wav Runner" is a really good name. Well done!
Thank you, I always thought it was one of our better product names.
Great products!
Shoutout to @Sleeperdude
I hope you are doing fine and i love these electrical vids as wel as the carnival rides i love electronic stuff so yea keep up the great work😊
Glad you like them!
Hope doing ok....
I was so looking forward for one off your videos! Definitief one off my favoriete youtubers!
Thank you very much!
I see you are a sleeperdude fan 👍
Yes! I have a wide variety of interests and if i'm in the shop, there is always something playing on one of the monitors.
i thought this video was awesome!!!!!
wait.. i use fancy alpha metals SAC305 solder paste and i need to refrigerate it and manage it a lot. if i don't, the flux evaporates and i get solder balls and other issues.. i thought yours (QC10) also likes to be stored at 5Celcius. Unless your shop is the refrigerator 😂
That is GC 10 that I use. It is shelf stable at room temperature for one year.
you checked out chinese diesel heaters? they have a seperate exhaust so no fumes and run more than diesel. i've been learning about alternative and cheap heat lately.
my only concern with them is that we heat the shop 24/7. I wouldn't be comfortable leaving that on when I'm not around. I have thought of trying them for additional heat while I'm there. Like, say we keep the shop at 60 degrees all the time and when I'm there use the diesel to run it up to a more comfortable working temperature. That could work.
There is always something to fix, isn't it?
This is true. And the older the equipment gets, the more often it needs attention.
you ok?
Have you conceded replacing airlines
yes, just haven't made it a priority yet.
