True, I'm from middle east as well (Syrian), and he hasn't even seen the best lol, he'll definitely be shocked by the Arabic music (style, riffs and runs, melisma, melodies...etc) Arabic music definitely has it all 😅
2:21 to 2:22 what technique she is doing, I sing but without training , but the beautiful tone she made is like a playful "little flirty " tone, or like a little kids voice when he makes a playful sound!! so nicely done.. I have found that in some of other girls in Arabic songs but she did it very well..
It’s actually a very small note done at the end of the held note with a very constricted heady voice that gives that effect you’re talking about.
A song that has a lot of this would be
Ana ela’ashi by mohammed assaf.
Just an example of it done on a different scale. The same technique but very differently charged emotion. So it’s very contextual but it’s a very fun technique to apply.
@@practicallyascientist9971 thank you for your kind reply.. yes I agree it is fun technique but suited for Girls though not men voice. So nice.. thanks
@@sutil5078 I disagree it works great with men too. It’s used in many different contexts.
Hahahaa i noticed you reacted the most to the descending triplet runs. Theyre our signature runs.

I gotta say, We Arabs MUST have the lyrics and music sooooo meaningful, that when you drink your coffee and smoking your Shisha, listening to those angelic voices and contemplate the lyrics and swim with music, you’ll get those chills and goosebumps with a smile on your face. That’s why Arabs would listen to hours of good music 🎶 😌
Love these scales!
You should check out the video comparing Beyoncé's scales to Arabic singers! I'll post it here.

Palestin voice ❤❤❤
An Arab child learns to sing from his mother. She sings to him when breastfeeding. Singing in Iraqi culture for women during the death of her son or husband, and it is sad singing that makes women cry over the dead. And in the Iraqi countryside, women have very beautiful voices. You can hear the most beautiful songs in the harvest season.
And in northern Iraq there is another type of voice and language, voices from the mountains, and they are the Kurds. In the south of Iraq, there is the sea. The most beautiful sounds come from the south.
In all Arab countries you find this diversity in singing and beautiful voices.. Arabs were created to be singers ;))

Beyoncé’s runs use Arabic scales sometimes when she sings live...her most unique runs are when she does these Arabic runs...she has used them a lot in her music
@Brooklyn Bey on a side note not all arabic scales have quarter notes
@Brooklyn Bey That is true

She uses arab patterns… not scales.
