On the test phone you could use any app. Now that I've received the one I bought, it is very limited to widgets only

I did exactly what u said, but there is nothing of what ur talking about for me. No instagram, no gallery, all i have are a couple of games. And non operating apps. So disappointing because basically the cover is useless to me other than im able to use it for messaging, CZcams and Netflix. Does anyone have this problem too, because i see no one talking about it.

So I'm not able to see the Galaxy wearable app, although it is a downloaded play store app and crucial to watch5 pro smartwatch management. Any thoughts on how I can get this to show up? Everything else seems to work just as you have described it here..
Samsung really frustrates me with basic stuff like this. How on the FORTH version of this phone they havent thought to allow you to use apps like spotify freely on the cover screen without a secondary app to do it.
You cant even change what toggles to have on the drop down menu and theres only like 6 widgets which is so dissapointing.

Hey Jimmy. I have the flip 5 and noticed last night that the PHONE and CONTACT widget were gone from my cover screen. I went into the good lock app and both apps weren't there either. I tried everything from wiping cache partition, repairing apps, and uninstalling/reinstalling good lock. But still no apps. I sent an error report and hopefully it's just a bug and an update will solve everything. Anybody else happen to them yet?
I have a similar issue, I can't add Samsung Clock, Contacts or the Phone app on the cover screen using Good Lock. 😕

Hi im unable to get phone app on good lock, how can i get that?
Im not really a flip guy im a fold guy though i think this tech is now cool, before zflip was garbage and boring but because the cover screen could now be used as a daily driver without having up to open the phone and to be honest id rather use that tiny screen over the very narrow 22:9 aspect ratio which i ain't a fan of i never liked sony 21:9 smartphone which looks like a tv remote or zfold outer display so unless they could make the phone wider and make the display more fun to use and considering zfold this flip gives us one hand i wish they could go with an 18:9 aspect ratio with a 3.7" outer display that unfolds into 7" flip phone. One thing i don't understand is if candy bar smartphones have samsung dex capability I don't know why they dont give the zflip samsung dex

I heard that Google Pay is the only app that won't launch on the cover screen. They say when you try, it just tells you to open the phone. Can you confirm if this is true?
I'm sure if someone mentioned that, it's true. Sounds about right for Google pay.

I own the Razr+ and now a Flip 5, nicer feeling phone but the Razr + is a fully supported functional outer display, get new notifications pop up banners in cover display sleep mode which the Flip 5 does not with the good lock patch, only displays with the five supported launcher apps, disappointing, like the flip, hope Samsung releases an update to make the cover display experience as enjoyable as the Razr + cover screen
The regular settings for cover screen is stock but good lock can make it bigger

I just got my new phone and the stock option apps are not on my cover screen when it's folded. There are no messages or youtube options. How do I get it on there?
i found it in settings under samsung labs, or if you search in settings 'cover screen' it should show the option 😅😅

You can find this app in your galaxy store. Not in your play store
How do I rearrange widgets/ apps
Can do that two ways. With it shut, swipe to a widget or screen and press and hold, then press and hold again and move it. Or open the phone, go to cover screen and do it there

I don't have Goodlock iny country so I use Fine Lock (tride Nice Lock too) and I do not have the launcher widgets in my cover screen settings so it's no use, can't activate it. Does anyone have this issue and know how to solve it?
I believe there's a workaround on getting GoodLock regardless of your region. Try to look for some CZcams videos about that! 😊

Food lock has taken that feature off I had it when I got the phone when it was brand new. I then lost my phone and buy back the same z flip 5 as they phone amazing but I can't get that feature back on my front screen... any other apps?

10yrs ago. You do not need to download an app to do this on your samsung fone or tab.

If you're speaking to Good Lock, as mentioned in the video, it is region Locked. Works in some countries.

Fact that you have to go through all those extra steps download extra things to have all the apps to be able to work on the cover screen fail Motorola does it right out the box Samsung fail regular less techy people will never know anything about this
