Thank you! This worked so well! Perfect the first time.
It's so much fun isn't it!
Thanks so much, I love your work. God bless!
Brilliant idea! Freezer paper is hard to find in my country too, and it's expensive. I'll try this and let you know 🥰
This is brilliant. Thank you!
What a great idea 💡💕
What happens after you wash it?
a very cool and good idea. TQ
Leave it to a committed Kiwi to come up with a brilliant idea. Freezer paper is now available but I often don't have any but I do have label paper... I live in New Zealand too.
Kiora Linda! Do you think the freezer paper method would easier?
awesome beautiful thanks i cant wait to try God Bless
This works very well and saves lots of time. Freezer paper is not easy to get in Australia either ( Spotlight sells it but at exorbitant prices). So impressed.
Have fun Wendy =)
I have the same problem with my cricket about not writing the black lines, so I cover it with scotch tape not the shiny kind all the lines cover them, and it will read it
Very cool! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
So cool. here in Iceland I can not get that freezer paper so I have to see if I can get this kind of paper. Thanks for sharing
I'm sure you stationary store should have sticker paper - smae thing =) All the best!
Love this!
Thanks Maria!
Thank you!!!
Hi! OMG I've been looking for ways to print on fabric and this video is super helpful! What fabric did you use and where did you buy it? I want the exact same cotton! lol
Thanks so much for this ingenious idea, have you tried with organza?
And does it stay there if you wash it in washing machine? I wanna try but I'm afraid it will get damaged...
Honey you are a GENIUS
Thank you for your kind words!
What kind of ink do you use to print and what blend is your fabric? Thank you for this great idea
Hi there, you can use any print, and I've used cotton. Any fabric with a tight weave would work I reckon.
BRILLIANT
Thanks so much!
Thanks for this video! Any idea if this will also work with mesh fabric (power mesh)?
Sorry for the delayed reply Danielle, did you give it a try? I think it will print, but may be faint.
Self adhesive paper
if I can ask please, what is your printer? It prints really clean and clear unlike mine. I bought the Monochrome HP but it keeps double printing. Thanks so much! I am in Calgary, Alberta Canada
Hi there, sorry for the delayed reply. I use a Canon printer - thanks!
Wonder if this would work with Aida embroidery fabric?
If you peel it off carefully the sticker paper will be good for the next piece of fabric.
Thanks Dianne =)
So could I use sticker sheets or would they be a nightmare to remove?? Genius idea.
Hey Karen, you can use sticker sheets, just leave a tab of fabric on the end so it makes pullling apart easier. To make the sticky part less tacky you could also run it against your top, some of the fibre from it will make it less sticky. Let me know how you go if you like =)
I was thinking about this ideal for many days not found any body doing it. But do same way 100 percent as I was thinking
Have you tried it yet?
Classic 👌
Thanks for your comment =)
Did you end up trying on opaque kind of fabric like organza? If you did please do tell what were the results ? Was it successful ?😭
Hi any quilt shop or spotlight stock freezer paper in NZ, would work out alot cheaper that what youre currently using Im guessing as its reusable.
Yes definitely Jennifer!
Hi there I'm a kiwi and get tge A4 sticky paper from ware house stationery, I have a very old laser printer it's 15 years old. It does a grest job. Recently someone said they spray to stop it from fading what could that be ..thank you
How the ink will stay after washing?
Not sure you can seal printer ink. You may need to do some research into ink that will stay after heat or something like that. Hope that helps.
Do you think it's important to use absorbent cloth, like cotton or rayon?
No not at all 🙂
Any way (equipment) to do this on a T shirt ?
Have you tried washing the fabric? Does the ink blot?
Don't wash it, the ink won't stay on =)
@@thecommittedcrafter9104 oh, alright, thank you!
How do I keep the colors after washing the piece ?!
I believe there’s a few recipes for DIY fabric colour stay online, I know natural dyes/fabrics can use vinegar however not sure about printer ink
What ink do you use
Hi there, just normal printer ink =)
What printer are you using?
Hi there, it's Canon - thanks!
@@thecommittedcrafter9104 is it an inkjet or laser?
@@SuperBeadgirl Hi Debbie, it's an inkjet =)
Ya decent scissors would be important here!!!
Yah totally!
