Thanks to this video, I got the McCartney Lyrics book, European edition. It’s surprisingly good. It reminds me of I Me Mine with a little more depth. Like you, I have the Genesis I Me Mine book that I bought in 1979 at the pre publication price of about $180.

Hey Mazzy, great gift ideas. I have the UK version of the McCartney Lyrics book. It has a more desirable slip case though I prefer the book spines on the US version. I still don't own the George Harrison ATMP box set yet however it might potentially be a Christmas gift 😊.Cheers mate 👍
I got the Get Back book and gave it away. The New Lyrics book set from UK and gave that away and got a US set for myself. I like to read them but rarely go back and read again unless it is book like Recording Sessions. I got lucky UK book only $100 shipped, and US only $60 shipped. I love sharing stuff with others and would send something to you...but you have everything. Happy Thanksgiving and keep enjoying life. Take care
Nice! Ever since I was in elementary school, the holiday season has always been about The Beatles! I really love that UK Paul Lyrics book design with Mike's photo! I ordered a copy from AmazonUK but it arrived totally bashed and broken. Did your copy come from them, too? Looks like yours arrived safely. My god, that uber ATMP set looks so amazing!! What a great edition for your fave solo album :)

Paul's Lyrics is such a treat. Kind of an autobiography of sorts with pictures and commentary by Paul that accompany the lyrics. I like to hear it from none other than Paul himself. I originally thought that Lennon-McCartney meant John wrote the words and Paul wrote the music. Haha.
Give the green one to the archivist and keep the UK one. :-)

Have you ever given a Beatles record to someone who'd never heard them before? What was their reaction? Did you have to live the Beatles experience to truly get the Beatles?
That's an interesting scenario isn't it? There are a number of so called first reaction videos on You Tube but the sceptic in me doesn't really trust them. How could you get to a certain age without being exposed to the Beatles? I was fortunate enough to experience them in real time as their music unfolded, but it must be wonderful to discover them fully formed as well. They very nearly didn't make it though! Last throw of the dice from Brian Epstein with George Martin who had been on holiday when EMI turned them down! Doesn't bear thinking about.
