If you need another uplifting song, "Alpenglow" at Wembly is a must. Floor even starts the song off by saying "This song makes you feel great" and ends it by asking "Feeling better?"

What really gets me with Nightwish is that their smiles on stage seem to be genuine.
It's really a treat when we get to see Marco getting the spotlight, he's such a legend. You should really react to their cover of Pink Floyd's High Hopes, it's such an iconic and awesome song, and Nightwish were able to both pay homage to the original while making their own version, and ofc it's Marcos spotlight aswell.

This band is always giving me goosebumps for the last 15 years or even more of that.. I'm 34 years old and i still cry with their songs like a lil girl.. Not gonna talk about Floor individually, this is a whole new level of cry.
But yeah.. Marco has one of the most distinguishing voices ever on this earth. He is amazing.
Is anyone going to mention the fact that, that's one giy having the full attention of 20000+ people...

I just found this channel recently and I love it! I'm from Finland and I'm a big Nightwish fan! This concert was filmed in Tampere, Finland which is my home town. You can see that tall dark building in the backround which is a local landmark Hotelli Torni (=Hotel Tower). Awesome view from the top floor there! Marco is from Kuopio, Finland where I'm also from originally. He is local hero there. I also absolutely love Floor! What a Lady!

As I write this, it’s been a very rough 8 months since you did this reaction, and I can’t count the number of times I’ve listened to this song since then. Maybe it’s just where my attention has been, but it seems like this community has shared itself more than most during hard times. I think there are probably people still here because the diaspora came together and grew. Thanks for the great reaction.

Fun fact, this was a song on Dark Passion Play, Annette Olzon's first album. This was also the first song that Troy was involved in, he wasn't a part of the band at the time but was hired as a session musician for both The Islander and Last of the Wilds, as they needed someone to play the pipes to accentuate the heavy Folk elements of both songs. The rest, as they say, is history.

I could not handle this one, and to think I actually AVOIDED IT FOR MONTHS TOO just cuz I thought eh it’s just not the same, it’s not the typical ‘Nightwish’ that we all know and love, until I finally stopped being stupid and listened, and Ohh my dear God no I couldn’t handle it, his INSAANE VOCALS MIXED WITH FLOOR’S, nope puddle of tears and DAYS OF HAVING IT STUCK IN MY HEAD, I’d say my only complaint is that I WANT MOOORE, I wasn’t ready for it to be over yet lol AMAZING!!!

This man can go from a calm and relaxing song like this to a song like Ghost River. Absolutely amazing range. Marco's become one of my favorite vocalists in general, not specifically metal. Also you still have a song from the Wembley show, that being Alpenglow. If you like the positive Floor vibes that performance has those for sure.

If you like Marco, you should definitely check out Tarot. Marcos and his brother Zacharys band. They kind of started the heavy metal scene in Finland back in the 80s. I’d go for any of the following: Crows Fly Black, Pyre of Gods, I Rule, Undead Son... They were active until 2010-2011 I think, might be wrong though.
