This is "The Rejoicing" from Fireworks Suite by George Frederick Handel performed on my Hauptwerk virtual pipe organ. The sample set used is the Father Willis in Salisbury cathedral.
Ah, I recognize this! It'll be played out after my sister is married, and it alone makes me want to cry out of joy!
Impeccably played, and good registration. What a lovely thing to listen to on a Sunday morning.
St Paul Cathedral in the London England
You should be in church on Sunday mornings listening to a live organ. Although this would be great for a Sunday afternoon!
@@j.t.4299 Not if my church is in the afternoon.
Handel would have approved . Great registrations; superb playing. Double BRAVOS!!!
I've read that a century ago people would go to the town hall to hear the local organist play reductions of orchestral pieces. If they had organists like you playing transcriptions like this, this would be a fine substitute for the recordings of orchestras we listen to today.
There's an amazing quality about the tuba stop; it sounds very different in its upper register compared to the lower register.
Beautifully played.. It's so wonderful to have that virtual pipe organ in your home..
AMAZING! I've always found the execution of the organ so so fascinating. Wonderful!
Have started work on the 3 manual, full pedal board console I got from a "renovation" (which included a NEW console, for a "real" pipe organ) Have realized that what I thought might be a "whole winter/school season" project, might be done by Nov/Dec. Watching this was a great inspiration! I'll bet the "uninformed" are SHOCKED when you tell them you have a "real" pipe organ, invite them in, let them see the speakers..the set up..and then start playing. I've had various versions of Hauptwerk for 20 years, also the Miditzer 216, 260. Using just a midi keyboard for some work that I do. There is something about a 3 (or 4!) manual system, with great woodwork, all together..AND using Hauptwerk. THANK YOU ROB for your MOTIVATION!
PS Mr. Stefanussen - MARVELOUS PERFORMANCE!
Thank you, Maestro. Grateful to join the community comments you have inspired. So many knowledgeable observers. Eternal Blessings.
A wonderful piece perfectly played.
What I understand of Hauptwerk it needs a LOT of processing power and RAM, so you are talking about a dedicated PC.
I have no idea what the console costs either.
What is wonderful is that you get the acoustic of the building, so you feel like you are actually at Salisbury Cathedral.
Grandious British composition!
Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!!!
Lovely! Brisk without being rushed, registrations inventive without being gimmicky, and beautiful phrasing. I think Herr Händel would be chuffed!
Brovo Robert. From you uncle James and Aunt Amber!
That Rob was fantastic, hope to see more fantastic music for every to enjoy and appreciate! :o)
J'aime cet Musique Classique
thank you for playing this masterpiece so well!
It's amazing... I hear every night.
Wow, superbly played! Glad to see you posting again, though I know it's hard work. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
Simply great! Thank you sir!
Fenomenal!!
Outstanding on many levels!
brilliantly played .and thouroughly enjoyed it
Thanks Rob! Impeccably played as always!
Most enjoyable. Thank you!
Wonderful! Congratulations on it.
Yes about time!
Very good version, as the playing technique and cool edition ;) Left a like
Outstanding Rob! Love your organ set up.
Very classy playing Maestro!
Magnifico
Nice. I haven't heard this piece before, but your playing sounds very professional. I still think these virtual pipe organ setups are so cool.
Very crisp and cleanly played. Your manuals look interesting - the white aren't all of a uniform colour. Are they made of real wood? The feel of Salisbury would be complete if you turned down the lights, lit a few candles, and hired a few people to mosey about, intoning prayers and readying aloud the memorial plaques. Thanks for posting - I truly enjoy your music making.
Need some new video's Mr. Rob! Thanks for all the great ones so far:)
Excellent performance! Besides, you really know how to choose the perfect registration! I'm impressed!!!
Wonderful ! Very good.
Oggi ho fatto una piacevole scoperta!
Ottimo!
Grazie.
'tis good to see more uploads!
BRAVO, so happy to have found you
Keep 'em coming!
I gotta get Hauptwerk - that is so magnificent. What a fine setup you have there.
Wonderfully inspired playing Rob. Thanks for sharing.
Confused and impressed by the sampling quality! Well done!
preciosa musica llena de armonia
Viva o órgão, vivas aos pedais!
Would love to see new organmusic-videos from you :)
Damn that was awesome
Awesome as always.
Sublime.
Your camera work is getting better and better! Really fun piece played registered thoughtfully. Keep them coming Rob! How about a CD??????
Beautifully played and thank you. When I first played, I really had to work hard to overcome the inevitable s-l-o--w--i---n---g down from the delay, especially in some churches. Can you simulate and practice with delay? Lovely to enjoy all the way over here in Australia - Dave
Impressive.
This piece is difficult to play cleanly. You did a superb job!
SO NICE! Thank you, Rob, for sharing your talents and the fruit of your labor with us ...
- I hear they're seeking an organist for the Tabernacle Choir -- should I send them a recommend? :-)
Greetings! Is the arrangement of this selection that you are playing available on line ? Is the arrangement free of charge or is there a charge? Or is this arrangement published by a music publishing company? Would you please reply and let me know the answer to the question I have raised? Thanks in advance... And thanks for your wonderful interpretation of this selection.
The superman painting... :)
igual opino lo mismo sencillamente magnifico. Mario Ribeiro de Azevedo Neto
I like Handel a lot.
Maravilhoso!
Parabéns! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for your performance on this, Rob! Very well played - so clean! Which arrangement is it? I've tried looking for it in the comments below, but didn't see it. Is it by Drummond?
Great playing!I just uploaded this piece too:)!
very nice and enjoyable. a bit, it reminds me of the rotterdam organ sounds.
I want to go the Royal Festival Hall
Simplesmente magnífico. Parabéns David!
Can I come and play the happy week organ
I love it!
Loved it - but how do you manage the change of clothes without missing a single beat? ;-)
Hi Rob, is yours a Two-channel set up? I noticed you had three speakers on the left and right, each. Wonderful recordings, plese keep them coming.
I didn't even realize it was a Hauptwerk organ at the beginning
Is this your arrangement. Sounds fine
How could I get you some cuff links ? How beautifully played sir !
Beautifully Played! Where Are You A Organist At? That Is A Very Impressive Organ. Is That At Your House? If It Is Must Be Nice To Stay At Home & Practice Rather Than Go Out To The Church & Practice? If You Could Do More Videos With The Pedal Camera On All The Time But Not On The Wide Angle. Be Better. Awesome playing!

Can I have one of those set ups because am a young organist so please
Organ, Organ...you need to obtain 3 keyboards, one pedal board. The keyboards could be cheap Casio keyboards, but make sure they have USB outputs. The pedal board is somewhat more problematic, they are about $1,500. Unless you adapt an old church organ counsel (as I am doing...you have to know something about electronics to do this!) Then the rest of the set up is "plug and play" For STARTERS you can find the Miditzer 216, download that (free), and use a couple keyboards (Casio type) and set it up. (Again, pedal boards are more difficult to obtain, or create.) Then to to some "Hauptwerk program" introduction videos. Good luck
where did you get you're hauptwerk console from
It says at the end of the video, he got them from Midiworks www.midiworks.ca/

You have a pipe organ in your house? How do you fit all of the pipes?
Jim1971a It’s not a real organ, it’s digital samples on the Hauptwerk computer software.
Hawptwerk
A sexy guy.
Rob became lazy, 1 to 3 videos per year ? :/
The nice thing about hobbies is that you can engage with them at whatever pace is "fun" for you.
