Even with 0 axis rotation, the ball will hook to put the core in a stable orientation assuming it isn't at release. It isn't the majority of ball motion but noticable.
Totally agree Chris. Releasing the ball with 0 axis is not 100% guaranteed that the ball will not hook though least.

Meanwhile, if you land on your heel then toe, you tend to step and stop at the foul line right? Does it make you lose balance?
