Me too and though I'm Hungarian I never heard of your language until I moved to Canada. Here mostly the Brazilian and the Azores the majority of speaking. I meant dialect. But as we all speak English now we can hear each other in our own language and we can express how it sund to us neighbors. Europe is the smallest continent so we are almost neighbours right ?

This song is sung in Savonian dialect, which is not rare or difficult at all, not even for someone from other side of Finland. The dialect in this song is bit old fashioned but there is nothing too weird that can't be understood nowadays. And by the way, understanding the lyrics makes this song even better. Too bad this version is missing few verses, that really makes the story of this song.

No finnish person would ever understand that. It's a really old and rare dialect. A finnish friend of mine only understands like a few words.
