    I love how he talked about connecting to Bob Marley and that's what transitioned them into reggae. I always loved all the Marleys but never connected to any music until finding soldiers of jah army. Especially when I first listened to the born in Babylon album. I literally felt every single word. You guys are awesome, keep up the great work. Your music has changed my life and outlook tremendously over the past year or two. Stay blessed!

    Man, I know this is old and I just happened to stumble across this but damn so many people need to hear this. The mindset and outlook on life Jacob has is incredible. This is really inspirational.

      Check out the Venus Project! They have created a Resource Based Economy that describes everything that Soja talks about, and more. In this economy, Mechanization will be utilized rather than ignored, freeing humans from having to commit to labor in order to survive. There is no money in a Resource Based Economy, therefore, there is no profit. Decisions will be based on the benefit of human development and what is best for the environment, not what is most profitable. thevenusproject.com czcams.com/video/yY3ZrKd6SD8/video.html This is it in a nutshell

    It's not even if we're doing it all wrong, look at this world, we are doing it all wrong. Let's all look it at less like a square and more like a circle, if everyone could convince just 1 friend, their friends will tell 1 friend and eventually the world will catch on. Worldwide love epidemic? Sounds lovely to me ♡

    Glad your part of the movement. Thanks for your music and inspirational words and time. I love you 💕😘❤️ Keep it up! 🌈 Also, I’m curious to know for people that travel a lot. Going back to the kids that have very little and happiness do you feel like people are the most unhappy in the United Stated because we’re the most programmed to consume? Or are there other countries that are worse? Also noticed this in South America these people literally sleep on the dirt and are very poor but they are as nice as can be usually and are into family and traditions. 🙏🏻✌🏻🌎

    oh my god this is hilarious. I've been listening to SOJA for 8 years now. Favorite band of all time, possibly above the Beatles (for me).... and I never knew he talked like a white dude from the suburbs. HAHAHAHA.

    • @andrewbeverly7718
      @andrewbeverly7718 Před 2 lety

      He is a white dude from the suburbs. That whole band is from the suburbs of Washington, DC. They grew up in $3,000,000 homes. Pretty sure at least one of them went to Bishop O’Connell, a day school which costs $21,000 a year per student to attend.

    Cultural appropriation at it's finest. Reggae is born out of Jamaica! Leave it to Afro-Jamaicans!...Leave BLACK culture with BLACK PEOPLE

    • @mikeperez6637
      @mikeperez6637 Před 2 lety +1

      Cultural appropriation for sure. I was hoping I would find him with a strong accent in this interview, not some suburb guy for DC. They'll tape their eyes and start a K pop band next.

      @@mikeperez6637 I totally get it. If he was a White Jamaican, then yes I can understand. I know the motto is out of many, they are ONE people..but this guy has probably has never even bern to an island
