    Great video Danny. It is really beautiful, clean and peaceful over there. That's what money is able to do for an area. I'd say that Georges' on the Cove is one of my favorite restaurants. Looking forward to your next video. Have a great weekend!

    La Jolla back in the day was affordable, had many clubs and was young oriented. Now its gentrified by old people money and foreigners with fortunes.

    • @MovingtoSanDiego278
      @MovingtoSanDiego278  Před 3 lety +1

      Some of my favorites are the Coronado Beach and parts of La Jolla (closer to glider port) however just be aware it’s considered a nude beach lol... Encinitas has some great ones too!

    Not surprised but you say 5-10k a month to rent a place there? Who they got living in Jolla anyway besides famous rich ppl. Doctors and lawyers?

    • @MovingtoSanDiego278
      @MovingtoSanDiego278  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes, tech executives, celebrities, those who bought a LONG time ago at a lower price and continue to live there. The closer you are to the water the more expensive it becomes..

    • @itsxannie

    Would be the perfect city if all the “Karens” left. It took 11 YEARS of litigation just to build Hillel. Smh.

    • @vartanpashayan297
      @vartanpashayan297 Před 2 lety +2

      Ik it would but those Karen’s are the reason La Jolla is safe and clean. West Hollywood and Beverly Hills used to be the best place to live and now there is more and more homeless people. (I don’t like Karen’s but there is a place for them in moderation)

    • @Hndjdj400
      @Hndjdj400 Před 2 lety

      If it wasn't for those "Karens" La jolla would have been turned to Hollywood, LA a long time ago. Riff raffs needed to kept away from certain places
