Why ask an orthodontist ( bone doctor) about skincare though he is right in a lot of places he is not accurate in many topics pertaining to skin... layering of skin is provin to be right ... washing face in plain hot water can make sensitive acne prone skin worse.... again skin pigmentation itself is a very broad subject for a skin specialist..... i think you should have asked many bone related subjects to him especially women are the main target s for low bone density issues and back pain. Relationship problems.... just a suggestion to the team to be more relavent in questioning the experts with the right questions and not viral questions...

Even drinking tea, coffee, and milk with meals reduces iron absorption. Better to have more time game between meals and tea consumption. More vitamin C-rich food intake along with a vegetarian source of iron (NON-HEME) is vital for its absorption. Another main cause of Acanthosis nigricans is insulin resistance.

Meat and chicken are great sources of iron, wonder why he didn’t talk about it. Heme iron( from meat, chicken, especially organ meats like chicken liver) is better absorbed by the body vs non-heme iron(spinach, green beans, etc). Also cooking in cast iron cookware increases iron content in food. Vitamin C also helps improve iron absorption, for example drinking orange juice after an iron rich meal will help.
Liver of chicken, goat is the best source of iron

Actually dates are rich in calcium too! Per 100g, dates have 10mg iron and 39mg calcium approx. So dates and milk are always hand in hand. If u take as supplements, then morning VIT D and calcium and 4 hrs later, iron n VIT C. Always take with a meal but while taking iron, better not to mix with dairy foods like yogurt, curd etc,.
