Long-time Bluey fans were gifted with a treat when the finale of season three was released. The episode “Surprise” starts like any other, as Bandit tries to balance playing two games to appease his children and make them happy. It’s goofy, heartwarming, and tries to answer a difficult question: What is it like having children? The last scene takes the characters years into the future, where an adult Bluey stops by to visit her parents. As Bluey and Chilli finish greeting one another and head into the backyard, Bandit is stalled by the doorbell. He goes to answer the door, unaware that his grandchild is waiting to launch a surprise attack. However, the Heeler puppy uses an updated version of the toy Bluey uses throughout the episode, reflecting their mother! Recognizing the sound of the toy, Bandit realizes what he’s in for, an afternoon of fun with the newest family member!

That would make sense, bluey went to college so we can assume she is older than 20. After the shows main timeline there is a time skip of about 16 years. That is plenty of time to meet other people (or dogs). Most people have relationships in college.

Even though it has not been officially revealed who the father of Bluey's puppy is, through logical reasoning, I continue to confirm that Mackenzie has the highest likelihood of being the father of Bluey's puppy, and I could provide many other reasons why it is more likely to be him.

I wonder if anyone else notices when Bluey is really happy she will wag her tail. If you watch the camping episode and compare it to other episodes that feature Mackenzie, you will notice a considerable difference when it comes to Bluey’s tail wagging. And as most people know, dogs will wag their tails for the ones they love.

The father could be anyone because:
Ear fold is a chance to born with and not being brought from parents. Proof, Mackenzie has a pointy ear despite his parents having folded ears, and Stripe having a folded ear despite Chris and Bob having 0 folded ears. Even though the mullet could be from Mackenzie, I would like to believe it came from the Heelers. Why? Because it's a You Decide thing after all. AND before you say "They have the black patch, it's from Mackenzie alright". Then It's possibly brought from their grandpa, Bandit. So basically, you could think it's Mackenzie or Jean-Luc, but DON'T think too hard about it for fandom's sake!

We might share the same brains, finally someone understands my thoughts. It really is your perception of things as the father could be anyone, including someone we don't know
She may not even be Bluey's kid. It's mentioned that Bingo had already gotten there, so it would be natural that whatever kid Bingo has would be fully set up to play. Heck, the kid could belong to Socks or Muffin or even a neighbor. There's really no telling who brought the kid over.
That's been my argument this whole time. If it was Bluey's kid why would she say to Chili "I just came to visit" instead of "WE came to visit" if she had a kid with her?

Also Bluey asks whether or not she’ll have children when she grows up, what having kids is like, and of course the kid has a toy blaster and was in the same spot and pose she was as a kid.

I absolutely 10,000% Believe it's Jean Luc. There aren't enough of Mackenzies traits in the puppy. Granted, the show may have intentionally created the baby to be ambiguous as to who the father is, but STILL. Bluey and Mackenzie are buddies, and even then they really don't even get along all that well. He picks on her more than anything. I feel like they may be on the right track to be really good friends as they grow up or even in the realm of like family friends so tight they act like siblings or cousins, but I really don't think they're ever going to be romantically inclined or there would probably already be some light playful little kiddie crushes going on. Most people don't marry their long-time childhood friends, it would be like marrying your brother or something! She would know WAY too much about him and it would just be weird. The whole idea of bullying people because you like them is ridiculous and stupid. Now meeting your childhood friend who you spent a whole summer adventuring with who meant something incredibly deep to you again as adults only to find that he's learned, probably on his own accord and maybe even taught himself, to speak YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE, likely because of or FOR YOU? The way they embrace when they see eachother again and their tails wag and they're smiling like derpy lovestuck idiots? Now THAT is very romance!

I feel like shipping children isn’t exactly cash money, but I do get the sentiment, Mackenzie is probably the best match considering the features and overall friendship outside the home, so in the future episode it is probably their children, mainly because of how their personalities are shown.

I say that, if that puppy’s dad is one of the two, Jean Luc is the father. I mean, same muted blue/purple tones, Jean Luc got fluffier as he got older so the kid might’ve inherited that trait for their dad, and that would mean that Bluey and Jean Luc’e love story is a direct parallel to Chilli and Bandit’s love story - met as kids whilst on holiday and ended up together years later

Rusty and Bluey were originally supposed to be cousins, hence why they have similar designs. This concept was scrapped and they chose to have Rusty and Bluey be friends. exactly. I think if it were a heeler and a Labrador mix, both ears would be floppy and the fur wouldn’t be as fluffy, since neither heelers or labs have very long hair. Mackenzie is very fluffy and has one floppy ear, which makes sense why the pup is so fluffy with a floppy ear too. And Jean Luc’s tail is thin, so if it were him and Bluey, I think the puppy’s tail wouldn’t be so fluffy. It also has a black patch on his head, but Jean Luc was drawn as navy blue. The black could’ve come from Bandit or Mackenzie
although it could be rusty too. even though he played mums and dads with indy, he is the same design as bluey just with different colors. they were theoretically “made for each other”

It's more then 90% Mckenzies because it is most logical, Barky boats (Literally about crushes and emotions) is its biggest evidence. I mean even the creators hinted towards Mckenzie and bluey. In also another episode, Winston's teases them saying, ooh bluey and mckenzie will marry, or something along those lines. And like the video says fruit bat too. Again these are all hints from LUDO itself. For Jean-Luc all we get is an episode of them playing together and meeting in their teenage years. Which isn't enough for us to assume anything. Also idk why ppl keep saying it's jean lucs color palette. The color palette also belongs to Mckenzie, the kid has a black patch. Same w/ the fluffiness.

I'd have to say just by thinking it's Makenzie, the pup shares so many more characteristics of Makenzie such as the tufts, the drooped yet still visible ear fluff, and the style of tail. Jean luc doesn't seem like it's even possible, as Jean luc was a reference to lifelong friends.

I think realistically it’s probably neither of them. How often do people really start a family with their best friend from kindergarten? So far the show has been centred around more down-to-earth, relatable situations and I feel like Bluey is much more likely to meet someone else who she falls in love with later in life

In surprise we see bluey as in adult, and what’s supposed to be her kid. Well reasons I think it’s bingos is because, who does bingo look like? Aunty brandy, who does bluey sound like when she’s older? Aunty brandy. And since bingo looks like her aunt more than chillie, it could very well do the same for her kid, like it look more like her aunt then her mother like bingo. And who does the kid look like? Bluey! So it could very well be bingos child.

I have a feeling that Mackenzie is the father and is actively in a relationship with Bluey, but I like to think that Jean-Luc and Bluey are together and that Mackenzie had offered to help Bluey carry her child if Jean-Luc wasn’t physically able to do so himself. since Mackenzie is such a close and good friend to Bluey, I would think he’d do something like that for his best friend in a heartbeat.

Thw child has more characteristics that point to Mackenzie, the ear for one though as pointed out by many people it doesn't mean anything since its a generic trait. And the child looks like Mackenzie when he was younger, fluffy. Jean luc and bluey were both pretty much smooth as children and besides bluey jean luc is still smooth.
Though as some people have said, it might even be a character that hasn't appeared on the show, making neither the father. And it wouldn't be surprising if that was the route, the child does hold both characteristics from both possible Fathers, it wouldn't be surprising if the father was someone who looked similar to bitg Mackenzie and jean luc in terms of color and the type of fur they have
