Dilip kumar was a Peshawari Pathan. His chlidhood was in Qissa Khwani bazaar ( where people in small roadside hotels sit & share stories, & gossip too why sipping tea ). Peshawari pathans bring dry fruits into India to sell. They come even today to Hyderabad. There is dry fruit shop in Hyderabad named Peshawari, run by a Hindu Pathan.
