They're each other's best friends and even when they're broken up they could still see each other and look after one another 3. Brittany balances Santana and vice versa: Santana always comes to her rescue whenever someone makes fun of Britt's intellegence and San always encourages Britt to be her true unique self (like during the unicorn school president campaign, and after Brittany returned from MIT), while Britt is always the one to straighten Santana out whenever she gets destructive (like when Santana tries to sabotage Rachel on Funny Girl) 4. As much as Santana hated when Britt dated Sam, she never tried to manipulate any of them to her advantage and except for when she expressed her objections verbally she stayed out of it and let them be. 5. Contrary to popular belief, in season 2 when Britt was dating Artie, I don't think Santana ever manipulated Brittany into sleeping with her, because: (1) for all we know, Brittana have always slept w each other on the side even when they were dating other boys (remember how in season 1 Britt accidentially told Mervedes, Kurt, Tina, and Artie that she and San have actually been having sex, even tho Britt was dating Mike and San was dating Puck at the time) so we have to admit that it has to be consensual from the getgo, especially cos Britt did admit that she likes it when they "makeout and stuff" on the Duet episode during the makeout scene on the bed, (2) Santana was a closeted lesbian who spent the longest time in denial. The fact that told Britt that the two of them having sex w each other is okay cos it's "different plumbing" was not an attempt at manipulation-- it was Santana trying to convince HERSELF that the weight of her feelings for Brittany was easily dismissable and that sex w a girl somehow was less valid compared to sex w a guy, (3) the only person to point out that Santana was manipulating Britt was Artie, who barely knew half of the extent of Brittana's relationship at that point, (4) Santana does respect Britt's consent, cos they did stop having sex at some point (when Brit gestured to her boobs in the Duet episode). 6. Britt was the one who supported Santana her whole journey to step out of the closet, and convinced her that it's okay to be out and proud. 7. Santana might be really mean to a lot of people but she never, even once, was intentionally horrible to Brittany. 8. Compared to all the other main Glee couples on the show, these two very rarely fight, we never see them yell at each other's throats and they seem to make each other better people when they're together than when they're apart. So lemme say this: Glee did do a lot of things wrong, but Brittana is honestly one of the few things they actually got right.
