Very cruel way to produce chicken eggs. For someone who claims to love animals, it’s surprising for you to promote such cruel conditions. Would you put a fish in a box and not allow to swim its entire life?
Easier to say and comment but that's the only way to feed 7 billion people with lower co2 footprint.
That’s a cop out. You don’t need to eat chicken everyday or meat for all that it’s worth. It only for convenience. It is easy to say, we don’t eat factory farm meats because of the cruel practices. We don’t make excuses. If you need to feed the world, eat more plant based meals.
@@CapeFearKoi ...i fully agree with you but it will have to be people's choice and not a forceful imposition. In Indian culture vegetarianism is the best and healthiest way of living life. Perhaps our ancestors already had a promonition about the cruelty, green emission and health hazards of eating meat. But present moment is different. Meat and it's byproduct is a trillion dollar industry for the corporation and masses will adapt it...no matter the consequences.

Then don’t eat cause all farms do the same. all breeder do that. The one you eat also. Even rich countries do the same exact thing to save money. I know because of experience.

Very interesting Dexter. Caged chickens producing eggs are not in favour in the western world. Free range chickens produce better tasting eggs and are higher priced. That's the old fashioned way of farming, but it's actually the best way of getting good food at cheaper cost. You feed them on scraps from the table, maggots, worms, bugs that they scratch from the dirt. A small amount of feed. Give them a compost pile to live on. They will improve it. You can then sell the compost.

Great video, Dexter! Not a large market for balut here in the USA, but there are a number of Asian markets in the Washington, DC, area that sell balut. I stopped raising ducks because they are so destructive of the land and plant life, but many people are allergic to chicken eggs and duck eggs are a great alternative. Keep it up, Dexter, Maraming Salamat!

For those who don't know - You'll notice the chickens beaks have been stubbed and there's a reason for that. Chickens are stone cold killers and will target weaker chickens then proceed to cannibalize them if they're allowed to roam freely among other chickens.
The Department of Agriculture should regulate this kind of malpractice in farming. The cages are too tight for these poor animals. I agree the owner needs to make money but at least give the animals a better living condition than what can be seen in this video. If there is a term called "Animal cruelty", this is it.
Sir dexter i've watch before other channel videos in breeding fish,chicken,ducks and quails but they are breeding and growing pets very complicated and i dont like their presentation, until i found your channel at February 2018 and i also found out that your also a filipino man.Other channels of pets,they are growing their fish by feeding very expensive fish food,but you are feeding your fishes and other pets like ducks only very cheap without complication like live food,cheap pellets for chicken.
I became successful in growing and breeding fish because of your channel.You are my best breeder of pets.

They DON'T HAVE ACRES UPON ACRES TO DO THAT, furthermore, it would take DOZENS OF PEOPLE/WORKERS to let them out then catch them and put them back on cages , NOT VERY SMART ARE YOU!???, THINK HOW MANY HOURS AND PEOPLE IT WOULD TAKE TO DO THAT!
