@@hhansanfranzas someone who was a vet tech and was in animal surgeries (I imagine the smells are very similar) most surgeries smell somewhat bad, some more than others… but just the smell of blood and open flesh for some people can be very bad.
That is how I feel about it too. I know this sounds harsh but you can’t provide your pet a clean and good home you have no business having one. Being depressed myself, if I had neglected my cats like that my mom would have taken them to her home.
I agree. I feel sad for the owner, but it doesn't justify that kind of treatment. One can and should give the pet to some other place while getting better themselves. There is no right to keep a pet in that kind of a mess. That is abuse, even if it's not intentional. 😢
Yes I think it’s very hard for the owners or parents as well bc they know it isn’t healthy but it must be so hard to admit it to the outside world and get help. I’m very proud of everyone mom/dad or pet owner who is brave enough to reach out for help ❤
Honestly I do feel bad for the cat. I have two cats and I make sure they always have a clean litter box as they’re very clean animals. I know this sounds harsh but the cat deserves better then live in this filth! I’ve been depressed myself too and if there ever comes a point I can’t take care of myself or cats anymore; my mom would take them to give them the life they deserve.

It's always so bittersweet seeing these houses getting cleaned when pets are involved. On one hand you know that the animals are their pride and joy, but on the other hand it's hard to deny the awful living conditions for the animals. I hope these cleanings help motivate the owners to do better with cleaning the litter box / pet bowls. Both the pets and the owners deserve happiness and a clean home ❤
They don't actually care about the animals. Love is an action, not a feeling. In this case that action would be a CLEAN LITTEERBOX and an environment that was clean and enriching for the animal. They 100% neglect their animals apart from slinging them food. Those animals are suffering in their so-called 'care'. I couldn't give a shit about such people when animals and children are involved.

Oh god, that poor cat! That litter box has not been cleaned in a while. I know what depression is like and also how important pets can be for feeling better. But it hurts my heart to think of the cat having to poop on top of a box full of old poop. Cats are clean animals and they hate dirty boxes. That cat almost certainly peed on furniture or on the floor in other rooms, and the apartment smelled like cat pee. I hope the home owner was able to take better care of the cat after this.
Seeing her cleaning lots of mess and here needed to go in and out ,if SHE need to get out ,me I was literally vomiting there ...and my husband was dying instantly 😂🤣😂🤣
I'm so glad for your channel, I have lived with depression all of my life and it's so hard to clean and take care of myself. Thanks to your inspiration I was able to wash down my kitchen trash can and it has no more fingerprints. I also cleaned out my dogs kibble bin and put their fresh food in it, and swept and mopped my kitchen floor. That's huge for me. Thanks for all of the motivation you put out there for us ❤
For most people sometimes is hard to clean job , kid, work schedule ,sick or operation but all we do this job never complain until we are done For me to clean is respect for me and respect for others.

It indeed is huge ❤ wow. Sometimes I let go of my room, and without realising, stuff piles up and it gets super dirty. These videos definitely give me motivation, and Auri makes cleaning fun instead of a chore.
Being depressed myself to the point I couldn’t work anymore and just laid on my sofa for most part of the day, I still always made sure I took at least some time out of my day to feed the cats, clean out the litter box and cuddle them. I’m sorry but this is animal abuse. Cats are very clean animals and they don’t deserve to live in such filth and having to do their thing on that disgusting litter box. If I could have not provided my cats their basic needs my mom would have taken them to her place to give them the life they deserve.
That's disgusting 🤮. I am a nurse and treated open wounds with organs coming out. Somehow this is more 🤢. More power to you! I switched over to being a psychiatric nurse and used to do weekly home visits. I was so fortunate to never see anyone living like that. You will be surprised how you can tell the state of someone's mental health or condition by the state of their living space. The dirtiest is not even a fraction of this. But with weekly visits it helps them get back to focus on their well being. One of the scariest for me was a former patient's home that was overly clean. Many think of extreme filth but extreme cleanliness is just as bad. I would know when he was having a rough time when you can see his red and raw hands from excess scrubbing. Everything was in a perfect line. I looked inside his drawer (with permission) and you would think he was using a protractor.

In situations such as this one, I often worry that you feel like you have to laugh and be cheery for the viewers, because many of us have expressed how we love your positivity. But please, take good care of your health as well. It's ok to feel down or to be repulsed sometimes, especially when cleaning a bathroom like this. It doesn't mean you're being disrespectful to the person living in that space. It's a completely natural reaction.

I guess neighbors complained about smell, so she got informed for apartment control... At least my brother once complained because of the awful smell coming from one apartment. In the end it was good he did. Soon after checking the apartment medical help came for the residents and had to carry her down the stairs and to the hospital.

I've had a serious depression before, but there's no way I would have put used sanitary pads in cupboards! Nor left my cat to suffer like that. It was very disturbing to hear that she worked in a restaurant too! But I'm glad to hear she is getting better and I hope she can at least throw away her rubbish. Chucking it in a bin is the same effort as placing it on top of a washing machine or in a cupboard. Sorry if I sound harsh but I'm upset for the cat.
After I had to put mine to sleep after 19.5 yrs THIS breaks my heart. Because at the end of my cat’s life she loss the use of her hind legs & I carried her to her potty put a towel under her belly & held her up so she could do her business. This really hurts. 😢 ✌🏻
I think it’s bc they are literally too depressed/ lazy to take the garbage out so therefore garbage piles up! I work very hard at my job but here at my own house I get too tired to take my garbage out and my grandmother will start to pile it up on the counters in like a matter of a day!! So I always try to take it out daily now!

That you "work very hard at your job" and have decided to take the trash out, has nothing to do with anyone else. You don't walk in anyone's shoes but your own. Lol so true. Masks are such a great idea when you clean cat litter (especially for pregnant people or people with immune issues) or even use potting mix and straw in the garden! I always wear one with potting mix now once I learned the pathogens that are inside it 😮😮😮

When my mum was really deeply depressed (not brushing her teeth,stopped eating, sleeping badly, on lot of medication) she ALWAYS cleaned our cat litter box and he had always clean bowl with food and water. We as kids had always clean washed sheets,towels and our fridge was full with fresh food,vegetables and fruit even when our mum wasn’t able to cook for us, we could take some cold dinner. This is really unforgivable for me too see a cat live in this condition…poor kitty.
As a bipolar my animals always are my number one who gets taken care of, even when I am in the same cituation that your mom was. I cannot imagine that I would do that to my dear pet, but i'm really happy Anna asked for help eventually! ❤

I want to thank you for all of your cleaning tips! My daughter and I moved into a beautiful home that had not been cared for or cleaned properly IN YEARS. We struggled with cleaning the grout in the bathrooms and the food crusted on the glass-top stove. We followed your advice and used oven cleaner and plastic wrap on the stove and it is now beautiful! Thanks so much! Also, we think what you do for people is just beautiful. You are truly an angel!

You did such a lovely job! a quick tip, as a cat owner who has had to deal with an incontinent cat, the cat pee smell will only go away with an enzyme cleaner that will breaks down the particles so they can be cleaned away. Otherwise it will be clean but the smell won't completely go away, and cats may pee again in the same spot, or a new cat will try to cover the smell with new pee 🙀You can get these at pet stores usually.
That floor had so many layers of dirt 😮 These videos make me realize that if i can just keep up with trash, I've done a lot of the cleaning work in my home. It can build up so quickly. I'm now living in a home where is easy to access the outside bins and we have trash pickup. In my previous home i had to rely on others to help because i have bad knees and getting the trash out was hard. To make it even harder, we were responsible for getting the trash to the dump. As long as i can stay on top of trash, it's not hard to sweep and wipe down surfaces.
Whatever you're going through, please don't put your pets through hell like this. That is animal abuse. Please rehome them, at least temporarily. They didn't ask to live this way. Toxic conditions and piles of feces can easily cause health problems.
I found a scraper with a 12" handle, but even better, it can be screwed into a broom handle, so you have a 4" scraper that you can use with normal broom height, standing upright! For people with very bad backs, it is a dream. I think Aurikateriina should get the same set up. Much better than having to crouch so close to cat poo.

Every friday i clean my flat and make everything ready for the weekend and upcoming week. Every friday im too lazy and dont wanna do anything. I love how you can be in this unhealthy place, cleaning it from messes that really shouldn't have gotten where they are, and still have so much compassion and empathy for the people who lived in it. That's a very good point to make....when we run into a home like this, it's a symptom of struggles not something that the person wanted. ❤ I've seen a few hoarder type homes and this makes me think of them with much more compassion.
You have made me a Scrub Daddy convert. Those are a really useful cleaning product. I mean, dampen with cold water and it is so great. Not some soggy sponge but a strong abrasive scrubber. Then hot water to ring it out. Thanks for sharing that. And, my favorite, the scraper. I laugh at myself because I never thought of all of the uses for it. A revelation. The oven door! Stickers on the fridge or any other hard surface. Labels stuck on food jars. I used to spray on this "goo" remover but it smells strong and leaves a greasy residue. That scraper takes care of those nicely with no chemicals. Sometimes I go looking for jobs that I can use the scraper on. So satisfying to use. I'm in Canada so no Sini products here. Thanks for helping people out. You are an inspiration and your cheerful attitude toward the work motivates me to work on my own space. Please never stop 😀

I was lucky to find your channel in the middle of depression, and now I remember your videos, and they motivate me to do basic cleaning, thank you. Like, today I somehow made myself take out the trash(-es) remembering that lots of stories in your videos start with the residents saying "I'll do it tomorrow" - and that's what I do. So, you kind of make my life a little easier while I struggle to find energy. You're amazing!

You should look into getting a mask with filters. Cause surgical masks don’t do anything for air born containments. You could get sick with all that poop in the air lmao. Be safe!

I've been thinking about buying that Scrub Daddy Power Paste for a while now. It's seemed a bit expensive in the local grocery store, but it's probably worth the money and I can finally get my shower to shine like new. Also I remember you using it to remove black marks off some bowls. I have a ton of plates with similar scratch-like stains.
i recommend it! i had some stains in my kitchen i thought were there forever and with a little power paste, they're gone! it's really gentle, too, and doesn't smell strong at all.
I started buying all their products last fall. The power paste is $5.49 and the scrub daddy and scrub mommy sponges are $2.49. I will say I’m so glad as I love their products, clean all the time and still using the same that I bought in the fall. Excellent products and thanks to Auri for me trying them
It’s hard for me to watch your videos, when a cat or a dog or any other animal is involved 😢. Some videos I didn’t watch because of this. It’s horrible for the animals and that makes me very sad.
I took care of my significant other and some of you may know when someone with dementia forgets about bathrooms they just go where they are standing. I spent many hours cleaning up messes, sometimes at 2:00 a.m. or some other inconvenient time; Clorox makes a product that eliminates stains and odors (Clorox Urine Remover) you spray it on hard surfaces, let it set for 5 minutes then rinse with water and nothing smells. If the accident happens on carpet, you soak the carpet with the liquid, then you walk on the carpet to make sure it soaks down into the pad underneath let it set for 3 minutes, then you take your carpet cleaner with its tank filled with warm water and vacuum up the area. It works for dog and cat accidents also. I paid $17 a gallon, but it was worth it. I'm sure there are other products that work too, it just happens I bought the Clorox brand, and it worked wonders.
I feel so bad for the cat. I hope they were able to relocate the pet for a short while while the owner gets the help they need and can get them back and take care of them better
Tbh I don't know how to feel about cleaning the house quickly before the inspection comes checking her apartment. I bet her neighbors have had to endure bad odours and now they don't know what has caused it. I bet the house will be dirty soon again.
I so wish wet bathrooms were the norm here in the United States!!! Seems so practical, clean, and open. Hard to clean dry wall and baseboards in a bathroom.

For most people sometimes is hard to clean job , kid, work schedule ,sick or operation but all we do this job never complain until we are done For me to clean is respect for me and respect for others.

Being depressed myself to the point I couldn’t work anymore and just laid on my sofa for most part of the day, I still always made sure I took at least some time out of my day to feed the cats, clean out the litter box and cuddle them. I’m sorry but this is animal abuse. Cats are very clean animals and they don’t deserve to live in such filth and having to do their thing on that disgusting litter box. If I could have not provided my cats their basic needs my mom would have taken them to her place to give them the life they deserve.

I switched over to being a psychiatric nurse and used to do weekly home visits. I was so fortunate to never see anyone living like that. You will be surprised how you can tell the state of someone's mental health or condition by the state of their living space. The dirtiest is not even a fraction of this. But with weekly visits it helps them get back to focus on their well being. One of the scariest for me was a former patient's home that was overly clean. Many think of extreme filth but extreme cleanliness is just as bad. I would know when he was having a rough time when you can see his red and raw hands from excess scrubbing. Everything was in a perfect line. I looked inside his drawer (with permission) and you would think he was using a protractor.

In situations such as this one, I often worry that you feel like you have to laugh and be cheery for the viewers, because many of us have expressed how we love your positivity. But please, take good care of your health as well. It's ok to feel down or to be repulsed sometimes, especially when cleaning a bathroom like this. It doesn't mean you're being disrespectful to the person living in that space. It's a completely natural reaction.

I guess neighbors complained about smell, so she got informed for apartment control... At least my brother once complained because of the awful smell coming from one apartment. In the end it was good he did. Soon after checking the apartment medical help came for the residents and had to carry her down the stairs and to the hospital.

I've had a serious depression before, but there's no way I would have put used sanitary pads in cupboards! Nor left my cat to suffer like that. It was very disturbing to hear that she worked in a restaurant too! But I'm glad to hear she is getting better and I hope she can at least throw away her rubbish. Chucking it in a bin is the same effort as placing it on top of a washing machine or in a cupboard. Sorry if I sound harsh but I'm upset for the cat.
After I had to put mine to sleep after 19.5 yrs THIS breaks my heart. Because at the end of my cat’s life she loss the use of her hind legs & I carried her to her potty put a towel under her belly & held her up so she could do her business. This really hurts. 😢 ✌🏻
I think it’s bc they are literally too depressed/ lazy to take the garbage out so therefore garbage piles up! I work very hard at my job but here at my own house I get too tired to take my garbage out and my grandmother will start to pile it up on the counters in like a matter of a day!! So I always try to take it out daily now!
It takes me more effort to find places to put trash if not in a trash can honestly!

Lol so true. Masks are such a great idea when you clean cat litter (especially for pregnant people or people with immune issues) or even use potting mix and straw in the garden! I always wear one with potting mix now once I learned the pathogens that are inside it 😮😮😮

When my mum was really deeply depressed (not brushing her teeth,stopped eating, sleeping badly, on lot of medication) she ALWAYS cleaned our cat litter box and he had always clean bowl with food and water. We as kids had always clean washed sheets,towels and our fridge was full with fresh food,vegetables and fruit even when our mum wasn’t able to cook for us, we could take some cold dinner. This is really unforgivable for me too see a cat live in this condition…poor kitty.
As a bipolar my animals always are my number one who gets taken care of, even when I am in the same cituation that your mom was. I cannot imagine that I would do that to my dear pet, but i'm really happy Anna asked for help eventually! ❤

I want to thank you for all of your cleaning tips! My daughter and I moved into a beautiful home that had not been cared for or cleaned properly IN YEARS. We struggled with cleaning the grout in the bathrooms and the food crusted on the glass-top stove. We followed your advice and used oven cleaner and plastic wrap on the stove and it is now beautiful! You did such a lovely job! a quick tip, as a cat owner who has had to deal with an incontinent cat, the cat pee smell will only go away with an enzyme cleaner that will breaks down the particles so they can be cleaned away. Otherwise it will be clean but the smell won't completely go away, and cats may pee again in the same spot, or a new cat will try to cover the smell with new pee 🙀You can get these at pet stores usually.
That floor had so many layers of dirt 😮 These videos make me realize that if i can just keep up with trash, I've done a lot of the cleaning work in my home. It can build up so quickly. I'm now living in a home where is easy to access the outside bins and we have trash pickup. In my previous home i had to rely on others to help because i have bad knees and getting the trash out was hard. To make it even harder, we were responsible for getting the trash to the dump. As long as i can stay on top of trash, it's not hard to sweep and wipe down surfaces.

Whatever you're going through, please don't put your pets through hell like this. That is animal abuse. Please rehome them, at least temporarily. They didn't ask to live this way. Toxic conditions and piles of feces can easily cause health problems.
I found a scraper with a 12" handle, but even better, it can be screwed into a broom handle, so you have a 4" scraper that you can use with normal broom height, standing upright! For people with very bad backs, it is a dream.
I think Aurikateriina should get the same set up. Much better than having to crouch so close to cat poo.

5:35 fills my heart. I love how you can be in this unhealthy place, cleaning it from messes that really shouldn't have gotten where they are, and still have so much compassion and empathy for the people who lived in it. That's a very good point to make....when we run into a home like this, it's a symptom of struggles not something that the person wanted. ❤ I've seen a few hoarder type homes and this makes me think of them with much more compassion.

You have made me a Scrub Daddy convert. Those are a really useful cleaning product. I mean, dampen with cold water and it is so great. Not some soggy sponge but a strong abrasive scrubber. Then hot water to ring it out. Thanks for sharing that. And, my favorite, the scraper. I laugh at myself because I never thought of all of the uses for it. A revelation. The oven door! Stickers on the fridge or any other hard surface. Labels stuck on food jars. I used to spray on this "goo" remover but it smells strong and leaves a greasy residue. That scraper takes care of those nicely with no chemicals. Sometimes I go looking for jobs that I can use the scraper on. So satisfying to use. I'm in Canada so no Sini products here. Thanks for helping people out. You are an inspiration and your cheerful attitude toward the work motivates me to work on my own space. Please never stop 😀

I was lucky to find your channel in the middle of depression, and now I remember your videos, and they motivate me to do basic cleaning, thank you. Like, today I somehow made myself take out the trash(-es) remembering that lots of stories in your videos start with the residents saying "I'll do it tomorrow" - and that's what I do. So, you kind of make my life a little easier while I struggle to find energy. You're amazing!

I've been thinking about buying that Scrub Daddy Power Paste for a while now.
It's seemed a bit expensive in the local grocery store, but it's probably worth the money and I can finally get my shower to shine like new.
Also I remember you using it to remove black marks off some bowls. I have a ton of plates with similar scratch-like stains.
I've had my power paste for a year now, used it often and barely scraped the top of it. It's worth the investment!
i recommend it! i had some stains in my kitchen i thought were there forever and with a little power paste, they're gone! it's really gentle, too, and doesn't smell strong at all.
I started buying all their products last fall. The power paste is $5.49 and the scrub daddy and scrub mommy sponges are $2.49. I will say I’m so glad as I love their products, clean all the time and still using the same that I bought in the fall. Excellent products and thanks to Auri for me trying them

It’s hard for me to watch your videos, when a cat or a dog or any other animal is involved 😢. Some videos I didn’t watch because of this. It’s horrible for the animals and that makes me very sad.
I took care of my significant other and some of you may know when someone with dementia forgets about bathrooms they just go where they are standing. I spent many hours cleaning up messes, sometimes at 2:00 a.m. or some other inconvenient time; Clorox makes a product that eliminates stains and odors (Clorox Urine Remover) you spray it on hard surfaces, let it set for 5 minutes then rinse with water and nothing smells. If the accident happens on carpet, you soak the carpet with the liquid, then you walk on the carpet to make sure it soaks down into the pad underneath let it set for 3 minutes, then you take your carpet cleaner with its tank filled with warm water and vacuum up the area. It works for dog and cat accidents also. I paid $17 a gallon, but it was worth it. I'm sure there are other products that work too, it just happens I bought the Clorox brand, and it worked wonders.

Tbh I don't know how to feel about cleaning the house quickly before the inspection comes checking her apartment. I bet her neighbors have had to endure bad odours and now they don't know what has caused it. I bet the house will be dirty soon again.
I so wish wet bathrooms were the norm here in the United States!!! Seems so practical, clean, and open. Hard to clean dry wall and baseboards in a bathroom.
