Hey Whistle, idk if you remember me but I recommended the Smith brothers for one of your "no days off" documentaries. I was wondering if you could get another one out right before the AAU jo's of a track athlete named Brandon Miller. Really talented athlete since he was 10 years old and has had over 10 aau records. is it possible you could look into it?
The 1st kid had it the hardest. He had to overcome several medical conditions that get in the way of his performance and has no control over? And still continues 💪!

When you guys say that they work for it and I 2 personal trainers one for conditioning ,strength and the other one soccer for soccer and I practice and the my club indoor stadium but it wasn’t given to me I remember I told my mom I wanted personal trainers she told me once your good you could have trainers so I got good my myself and with the ayso team then my mom put me in to club got me personal trainers and it took me like 4 years for that

I'm not saying these kids won't make it but what the US needs to realize is that soccer is not like other American sports where doing all these drills and having personal trainers with fancy tech makes you good. What makes you good is spending as much time with the ball as possible playing in tight spaces with your mates at a young age. Just look at Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc. They just had the ball, their mates, and themselves. When you get to the age of 11-13 you start doing more structured drills to fine tune the skills you learned from just playing as a kid. All these things and the fact club soccer is a "pay to play" system in this country is why we'll never catch up with the rest of the world.

This comment came from my heart as I've grown up in America as a first generation American in my family and my parents haven't been able to let me play club consistently due to the fact it costs $2000+ a year. I've always had the aspiration to be a pro footballer and I train all the time at the park, with my brother in the yard, etc. Unfortunately every year I'll make the local club teams in my area but money is always an issue. Really appreciate the little support this comment has got and I hope it inspires those who don't have all the resources but have the drive because ironically those are the ones who make it. Much love brotha. ✌️

With all of the professional trainers, facilities, gadgets and yet, he is not very quick, not very fast, and not much power at 10 years old... not sure how talented he really is... I have seen many kids as talented as he is, and they are younger, quicker and more powerful without the training facilities and professional trainers available

Ayyyy. My club did a thing called EXOS and we did a very similar physical/agility workout. Very impressive that he’s doing it at his age.

I hope the 2nd kid is really greatful because not all, but most people if they had those sort of opportunities to train all the time would take it. I play rugby so its a bit different but if i could have trainers with me almost 24/7 id be out there all day. Also he may seem a bit cocky but he puts in hours which obviously comes with sacrifice. He deserves to be able to say one day people will know my name. Its his dream and you can see hes working for it.
