The problem is that, Fifa 23 on switch they’re using Fifa 19 engine without changing anything unless the kit and the player transfer’s.

The thing is, the switch can handle way better engines. If you look at other nintendo switch games, you can see how realistic the others are. I really hate how they used the FIFA 19 engine. I hope they can change this.

the game is at 40 dollars i think, honestly if you want to buy it is better to wait for the game to be on sale, usually its like at 20 dollars on sale
For a portable console id say it is pretty good. The only fair comparison would be if PS5 would have a portable console to compare them otherwise the ps5 wins in every single category clearly. And then you have the PC which in turn bests all the consoles on the market right now.

The games just noy worth it but being able to play anywhere on switch especially if you only care to play career mode as a player or a created player or even manage a team than yea the switch is perfect for you. Switch will just never have the best graphics and i am ok with that

It's EA's "Legacy Edition" on Switch. Essentially a multiple year old fifa rom with players names and the calender changed. Cause that's all ea could be fucked to give effort for on a system with over 111 million player install base.

Ps5 might look miles better and have all the presentation stuff, but the push for overly realistic, slower gameplay made the game less fun for me. I think the 360/ps3 era gameplay, and therefore the switch, is much better. IMO, the series hit its peak around 15/16 on One/ps4, which was basically a prettier version of the 360.
honestly fifa on playstation/xbox nowadays is just people squeezing the hell out of bugs and meta. everyone has almost the same squad from a certain point on. i personally dont like it

I play both versions. On switch the gameplay is more fun and engaging!
Steam deck is also portable and it can run the next gen PS5 version
If you have 600$ to pay for a handheald the switch is only 200 and 100 for used ones so no comparison

Fifa on switch is not using any of 2019, 2018 or 2017 engines, fifa 2023 is a mobile port from 2010 mobile fifa game. Basicly, graphicaly fifa version is worse than pc version of 2003 or PS 2. The sad truth is that EA has never made football game dedicated to switch , they just yake old mobile game and put Ronaldo or Mbape on a box and thats it. How do i know this? Look at grass- it is dead, the same synthetic, plain two-color patern, the same in every stadium. Even older Pc versions had muddy, weared off sandy, muddy spots. And there us no lighting engine at all.
