I don't know enough about sound mixing but when we get to the EQ and adjustments stage.... could anyone but DP or Todd know what to reproduce? Not saying it can't be done but how could someone hear each individual sample alone from the finished track in enough detail to know what exact tweaks to make, a lot of them are inaudible to me. Maybe @the is not spot on and this is their best guess, but it feels too perfect to me.
This is amazing, you have some of, if not *the* best remakes I’ve heard. In fact, the small changes make me really like some of them better than the originals, like your aerodynamic remake. :) stay awesome!
hello, thank you for this video! but there is one thing that I cannot understand about the transposition of different music. How do we know how many semitones we need to go down or up to get to the right scale from a major scale to a minor scale? (and vice versa)
Craziest thing is that Ableton Live didn't even exist back then, so Todd Edwards probably made all of this in some type of outboard sampler. Legend.
