If you want your edges to be straight then you can search straight edges technique on alphas it won’t change the rest of the pattern through you only do that type of knot on the edges

Could you please explain what knots are being used when I try making these my bracelets always look “lumpy” and they’re not straight I just need help learning if it’s a back word knot or foreword knot
Hi Mariana, I used both kind of these knots in the name bracelet. When I do the row from left to right ➡, I tie the forward knot. For the row I make from right to left ⬅, I use backward knot . Hope this helps!
You can search how to make a alpha bracelet if this is unclear, there are many websites that have alpha patterns so you can not only make letters but pictures too

What lengths did you use for both strand colors?
Hi Salma Zaki, Length of blue string is about 50 cm. Length of green one is about 400cm -450 cm depending on your wrist size
