- US President Joe Biden was blasted online after the story of his uncle "Bosie" being eaten by cannibals was debunked.
According to Biden, his uncle Ambrose Finnegan "Bosie", died after his plane crashed in an area close to New Guinea during World War 2.
The oldest-ever sitting president was labelled a “liar” for telling a “made-up story”.
“Just another complete lie by Biden to make himself seem more interesting than he is,” wrote one user.
The truth of the story came out during a flight on the president’s plane, Air Force One.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated Biden was just “incredibly proud” of his uncle when he told the fabricated story.
“You saw the president; he was incredibly proud of his uncle’s service in uniform. You saw him at the War Memorial. It was incredibly emotional and important to him, she said.

My village at Ewasse, West New Britain in PNG has a school called Airmans memorial Primary School that was built by an American soldier who crashed there and was hidden from Japanese soldiers by my people. He came back to build the school after the war. This is just insulting to my people and ancestors many of my people helped your soldiers.

The PNG people were called the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angles by the Australian troops stationed there in WWII, always thought it was because they helped the Australians ( and by extension the Americans ) by carrying the injured, supplies and no doubt in other ways that supported the war effort.
