- paramilitary 2 , occasionally had lock stick since new , would rotate stop pin but that was temporary fix , disassembled and covered lock and pin with sharpie , put back together and repeatedly open and closed , was able to locate exactly where tiny tiny bur was on spring, slowly sanded and filed , action is like butter now no matter now . took less than an hour .
Did you sand the top of the spring lock or the round pin it hits? Or both? My P2 and P3 are pretty smooth, but the Yojimbo 2 is juuust a little sticky. Thanks for the help!
I filed the spring first and lightly sanded the pin , i think the bur on the spring was the main culprit but it's possible the pin caused the bur . Took a few times to get it smooth.
@@caseyjames7379can you help me out with the grit please. This is pissing me off so much. Brand new flytanium hardware and it’s stickier than Marvs hand in a collection jar… #stickybandits 😂
@@vr6trooper i just used some 600 and a small tool file for the flats , i colored everything with a sharpie let it dry and reassembled it a couple times , it was a tiny gouge and bur, ive heard a couple people mention just turning the stop pin stopped the lock stick.
@@caseyjames7379 yup I was rotating it and it seemed to get better. What sucks is that I went back to the stock, stop pin and it was sticking again. Idk maybe the tolerance is a bit off with the Flytanium Ti scales too. But I’ll go to Home Depot tomorrow for some grit paper. Thank you!!
@@vr6trooper it doesn't take very much to make the lock stick , the bur on my spring was unnoticeable at first , just happened to find it after a couple disassemblies , good luck man.
Please buy a tripod for the camera
I apologize about the production value of a 1 minute easy fix video for a pm2 .
@@caseyjames7379 it was a joke dude i thought it was a great video, keep up the good work.
@@loganjacobina3108lol it's all good man , i wasn't being serious in my apology, thanks for the laugh.
Nice tip. I don’t have a PM at the Time. But have been looking at some.
@@ShinyKnifeB_Channel my favorite carry knife , but sticky lock is a common problem right out of the box, easy enough fix though.
