Thank you for this video. it was 1979 when bought my first Nazareth album. And i loved this song. Now im 58 and ive taught myself guitar few years ago. Playing this song brings me back. Cant wait to strum it around a campfire. Thank you for your help playing a song i never thought i could.

Great lesson!
I'm new to playing guitar and have trouble picking out strum patterns. Is there any chance you could share this strum pattern for an old dog learning new tricks?

Hey Steve,.. so I'd suggest starting with a very simple 1-2-3-4 strum. Strum down for each count. Slow and steady. From there, work on loosening your wrist, so you get a bit of a bounce on the up-strum, and this will add a random variations on the E-B-G strings for a little high-end colour.
