  • The Kasha of Kaimuki is a famous entity that exists on the ground of a property in Kaimuki, Honolulu Oahu Hawaii. Kaimuki is an old neighborhood itself. Kasha is a Japanese demon, and in it's viewing form it resembles what looks like a cat like creature (yokai), because of it's claws and how it crawls. They can also be straight demons.
These Kasha steal the souls of the recently departed to the underworld as a misfortune for all one's evil deeds they have done here on earth and eat them. Kinda like that seen in the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze where those black shadows come up from the ground and take the dead bad guy away.
So where does this Kasha come from? It's Japanese in Hawaii! Who knows? Kaimuki was once an early settlement of the island. After the native Hawaiians lived there from forever, when the immigrants came in the 1800s, many Japanese lived in the Kaimuki area. It is an old town. Could someone have brought this demon with them? Some say though, it's older than that.
Resident's of the property have reported eerie feelings, objects moving, and hearing the demon, and being attacked and choked by it. The original house does not stand there anymore. Does that mean the Kasha has moved on? We'll see.
