Matthew Duca they did a couple years ago. They never made an official announcement of it tho. Sam and mike are doing this new thing called chief with the old vocalist Jordan. It’s like a weird synth wave meets the 1975 thing. Kramer hinted at a return tho. And mikes been recording some riffs and posting them here and there. But he’s been touring with ghost Atlas and bad omens a lot recently to so who knows.
Alex is an absolute beast of a drummer. This is definitely one of the best songs they’ve released. Check out First Father, Panic Room, Native Blood, and Share the Body.

Alex is by far the tastiest drummer in the genre. No question. He doesn't do much that makes you lose your mind. But he is just so tasteful. He doesn't play drums, per say. He plays music. There's a big difference imo.

Story at the start reminded me of driving home from a toronto trip me and a buddy had. He'd never heard in flames so we listened to reroute to remain front to back and he told me once we got home he thought they were great. Saw him a couple months later and he admitted he was asleep the whole 2 hour drive home XD EDIT: He really did fall in love with the band after that, so mission accomplished :D
