About Crazy Rich Asians:
"Crazy Rich Asians” follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. Excited about visiting Asia for the first time but nervous about meeting Nick’s family, Rachel is unprepared to learn that Nick has neglected to mention a few key details about his life. It turns out that he is not only the scion of one of the country’s wealthiest families but also one of its most sought-after bachelors. Being on Nick’s arm puts a target on Rachel’s back, with jealous socialites and, worse, Nick’s own disapproving mother (Michelle Yeoh) taking aim. And it soon becomes clear that while money can’t buy love, it can definitely complicate things.

It will happen, but no one exactly knows when. I think Covid was a factor. They also had a problem because Adele Lim, the screenwriter for the first movie, didn't return (she was paid terribly and wanted to be paid fairly). Right now John Chu (the director) is working on Wicked (the first part is coming out at the end of November and the sequel in Nov. 2025) - so we might be looking at 2026. Another factor is the longer time passes several of these actors sign up for other projects so it gets tougher to "get the gang back together" because of all of their schedules. If you really want to know what happens, read the second and third novels of the trilogy - Crazy Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems.

Great book and the movie cast is great except Constance Wu is too old for the part. And they can't film book 2 because of how they changed the ending...
They will film the books. At this point its because the director is busy with the two Wicked movies and deciding on a screenwriter (the first one left because she was paid very badly for CRA). The problem will be whether the public will still care for the sequels (they are going to film the two books back to back) almost a decade after CRA?
@@jamesrawlins735it hasn’t been a decade since the first movie, only 6 years but yes it’s definitely a concern on wether or not people still care for this franchise. But hopefully we do get a sequel!

O Snyder sabe como criar hype e divulgar muito bem essa obra, mas uma pessoa só não consegue poxa
