Revenge was great but as play keep playing these gems, WT/VPW64 have certain charm that keep drawing me. Revenge gameplay is better but I have never liked the character models. Hogan and Scott Hall should not have the same stature as Benoit and Jericho. Revenge had the worst character models of all the AKi games. It ruined it a little for me. No Mercy and VPW2 are the best ones. Revenge had a deep roster but no Flair. VPW64 didn't have as deep roster but it had the characters I cared about for the time.
The cruiserweight division was godly in 96-99
Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Ultimo Dragon, Alex Wright, Chris Jericho, La Parka, Billy Kidman, Disco Inferno, Kaz Hayashi, Psicosis, Juvi, Chavo, Syxx, Blitzkrieg, the other dozen or so luchadors, and topped off by the occasional appearance by Jushin Liger!
Prince Iaukea was the only downside to the division.

If you play the Revenge Salvo rom hack you will never come back to the vanilla version of this game again. It works on Everdrive too
