TheInquisitiveMug I agree completely. I find these more funny than most of the game grumps let's play series. That's my personal taste, however. I tgink the let's play content has greater mass appeal, whereas these are more catered to the fans.

(Also these older episodes where they tried to take a more unsettling approach are so strange now... now, they mostly just have fun, with almost no acting! The most recent exception I can think of is the Ikea building episode from a little bit ago, which doesn’t even really count because it’s not acting, it’s just kind of “Dan being unhelpful while Arin gets upset about stuff” but there’s no arc to it like in the older episodes.)
This is honestly becoming the best content ever on this channel. I've been a fan for years now and I'm really glad to see you guys have finally gotten that incredible improv energy out of those live actions bits and funneled it into an actual show. Most of these episodes have struck the perfect balance between measured laughs and the sort of absurd and sometimes uncomfortable anti-humor you guys have cultivated through the years on this channel. I really dig it. Keep up the great work, please!

In response to Arin's fear, when I was a young lad, I used to occasionally have auditory hallucinations. They usually happened before I would start falling asleep. I would be totally aware of being awake and being in bed but I would hear the sound of a man talking, and I could never understand the words. When I would open my eyes it would always stop so I chalked it up to some weird half-dream shit. Until one night. Up until this point all of these episodes had been the same thing, the noise of a man talking, but this was VERY different. I was laying in bed but I couldn't fall asleep. Very suddenly I started hearing a weird static noise, like a radio between frequencies or when there are many people talking quietly in a room but you can't pick out any one voice. The noise starts off very quiet but gradually starts getting louder and louder until it becomes absolutely deafening. I open my eyes expecting it to stop but to my horror it does not. I stare straight up at my ceiling for a good 10 seconds before it suddenly stops and all I can hear is my heart beating. Then, directly in my right ear, I hear a young girls voice, as though she was right at the edge of my bed. I jumped the fuck up and turned on the lights. I ended up sitting in the opposite corner of my room playing guitar until I could calm down. I have never felt more creeped out in my entire life.
Me: (sees the title) But Arin, you’re married!
Me: (watches the video) Oohhh. I see now.
