Nice review bro : ) Been trying to decide between this and a Keurig. I think Nespresso pods are more proprietary, and so filling your own pods is a more painful experience (requires foil stickers etc), vs the Keurig that has an official refillable pod. I love the look of these though!
Also since you're a software dev (so am I), ALWAYS be skeptical of WiFi / Bluetooth "smart devices" especially when the smart feature is unnecessary. This is only a means to continue to profit off you by collecting first last name, email, phone unique device ID, advertising ID, geo location, and other device data, and sell it to 3rd parties. It's why KFC has an app, Pizza hut has an app, AC unit has a app, RGB Bulb has an app, toaster has an app, the bidet to wash your ass has an app...
