The Best of Antigua, Guatemala (Holland America Shore Excursion)

Welcome to Food, Travel and Inspirations. My wife and I went to Puerta Quetzal, Guatemala during our 14-day Panama Canal Cruise, And we would like to show you the shore excursion that we booked through Holland America cruise line which is… “the best of Antigua”. We chose this tour because Antigua’s old town is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Puerto Quetzal is the largest port in Guatemala on the Pacific Ocean. When you’re in Puerto Quetzal, there are several excursions that you can booked through cruise ships. There are tours to Mayan ruins at Tikal, scenic tour of coffee and banana plantations and a visit to Antigua which we are going to show you in this video.

Beautiful! My culture is Guatemalan, I was born and live in the US, but as a child lived in Guatemala for a couple of years. I have been back to Guatemala many times and never knew there was a port and cruise that stops out there. Thank you for sharing!! And YES Antigua is beautiful!
