Speaking of dealing with depression, Tool's "Reflection", from this same album, addresses that in such a beautiful way. Anyone who likes Parabol/Parabola will almost surely like Reflection too. Some will say you need to listen to the "Holy Trinity" of Disposition/Reflection/Triad all in succession, but if you're not up for a 22 minute marathon, just do Reflection because it's by far the best of the three.
True, i listen to Disposition and Reflection together for the transition but i leave Triad for another time.

I've suffered all my life with a chronic illness, and it has taken its toll on me throughout. Chronic pain and kidney disease is now also an issue. This song.... it not only eases my mind, but also gives me much hope. It affects me deeply... and this is coming from an atheist. This body is temporary, we will all return to the universe after our brief existence. In my top 5 favorite songs of all time, a masterpiece.

Also I appreciate you sharing your personal struggles. I've been there many times. I had Lyme Disease and it affected my brain and body but I was able to persevere. All this pain is an illusion....

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Never watch a Tool music video on your first listen. They are absolutely awesome, but they have little, to nothing, to do with the songs, and are incredibly distracting to the song.
That being said, after your 5th or 10th time hearing a song, definitely check out the videos, they are works of art in their own right. Adam Jones, the guitarist, makes them. He was an artist for movies before Tool, working on, among others, Jurassic Park and Terminator 2.
It was so funny hearing his commentary on it without seeing the video I remember it too well hahah
