It's wild watching Sean's beginnings as antagonistic younger bro energy, in comparison to the classy, introspective, therapist Hot wing coach Dad energy we know and love today 😂
The way the interview questions have evolved is crazy. It’s not like they were bad before or anything, but now they’re so in-depth it’s hard to ignore. Shout out Sean and the team for improving constantly.
Tony Yayo 0:23 Anthony Rizzo 5:39 Machine Gun Kelly 15:55 Gunplay 31:04 Ja Rule 45:57 B.O.B. 1:04:00 Prince Amukamara 1:21:10 DJ 💩 1:38:09 Chili Klaus 1:54:41
This throwback makes me even prouder of what this show has become. Theres a lot more of a conversation going on today than in these initial episodes. Anthony Rizzo gave a few one word answers and they just stuck with that, then went to an awkward cut. Again, that’s not as much a criticism as much as it is a credit to how much they’ve evolved and improved in almost every way. One thing I did enjoy is some of the trash talk from Sean. I appreciate and love that he’s become more akin to a kind shaman guiding the guest through a psychedelic trip. But this sorta edgy, trash-talking Sean is funny.
Over the last few weeks I have been on a Hot Ones marathon watching all the seasons to catch up, so far I have made it to Season 16 on the playlist. Sean you are a legend sir! The way you put the guests at ease and the research you do puts you near the top of the list of interviewers on any platform! please never stop this show. If you make the other seasons into marathon video's please put them in the right order, some of the playlists play backwards and when you refernce those shows its spoiler time! haha. At some point soon I hope to have a bit of spare cash to buy some Los Calientes and Blue Classic, shipping to the UK cost.... but every guest likes them im sure its worth it :) ..... thanks for your years of pain for our pleasure!
The first question of the first ever hot ones episode gets a sincere, "That's a good question. " and it's said _after_ he answers, so it's not just a way to bide time.
I have always said Sean and the team at this show do the greatest interviews with the best, most well prepared questions. Every single guest comments on how good the questions are. And I saw these videos around the time they came out but that was almost a decade ago. I forgot they built up to being as good as they are, though it didn't take long. I think it began around 7:16. Sean asks Anthony Rizzo about Will Farrell. The answer he gets, "I wasn't there that day," and then the look on Sean's face says it all. It tells me he must have decided that after that interview, or maybe right in that moment, to never be caught like that again. You ask the guy the question and then he wasn't even there... ? That is journalism 101. Make sure your question is relevant and the person you're asking can answer it. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into it. But if you notice, after that second interview, the questions get better and a moment like that never happens again. And now look at them. It's my favorite celebrity interview show.
Also, I might add, something else I noticed a while back is that no one has tapped out in a long time. Seeing these videos again, I think it's because of Sean. They switched the vibe of the show from trying to intimidate guests and challenging them to Sean helping them get through it by encouraging them. I think the show is much better for it. Keep up the great work, Hot Ones crew.
This marathon was a nice suprise to have pop up. I've rewatched some of my favorite episodes but watching season 1 again, start to finish, then topped off with Chili Klaus. Amazing! I first found this show in season 3, thanks to my son. I, of course, binged it from season 1 forward. While it has lost a bit of the novelty, and some of the rather "in your face" Sean comments, it's really become one of THE most respected talk shows on any media. It has garnered mentions in movies, tv, other YT shows, and even had others trying some of the sauce challenges themselves. Well done to ALL the staff! Here's to many more season, I hope!
Sean I am definitely convinced that you don't have any test bugs at all and I was shocked how well Machine did I know I would not be able to do that well
From the very first episode when he tells Sean "If you keep going, imma keep going"... the look in Sean's eyes and the confident "alright!". A show was born.
So is it true from what I remember you guys had said that Sean was originally not going to eat wings, until Tony Yayo called him out? Also shout out to dad's follow up on ep2 where we see Sean following that lead from Tony and ask Rizzo the same question. Showing Sean learning and trying his interview skills. Been a great ride ty guys for putting this out.
*Like if you're feeling as nostalgic as we are.*
We ❤ you Hot Ones 🔥 crew!
BRING ON MATPAT YOU COWARDS
do this for everyone season it's a great idea
Yes, Enny. Hot sauce IS the best!
The best stuff we had back in the day.
It's wild watching Sean's beginnings as antagonistic younger bro energy, in comparison to the classy, introspective, therapist Hot wing coach Dad energy we know and love today 😂
Sean was savage in season 1 dude.
Easy to be savage when the hottest “dab” was a measly 357k scovilles 😅🤣😂🤣😂😊
I can’t believe I forgot how insanely delusional DJ Khaled’s interview was 😂😂😂 Thank you guys for posting this!
it’s embedded in my brain actually 😭😭😭😭😭
"Take an L? Never. Never happened." Proceeds to take an L five minutes later.
Lol, "congratulations you played yourself" 🤣
The way the interview questions have evolved is crazy. It’s not like they were bad before or anything, but now they’re so in-depth it’s hard to ignore.
Shout out Sean and the team for improving constantly.
Sean was a little aggressive Season 1 hahaha

mvp
DJ 💩 😂😂😂😂💀
MGK is such a tool.
Asking Khalid how fast he can run a mile is wild 😅
fast, like you mean speed?
Put a red velvet cake at the end of the line and watch him go
"i just wanna know if you have a safe word" - Anthony Rizzo
"well i just let you know i don't"
im dying
Bro the editing on that one😂 boy
DJ Khaled pussying out always slays me.
DJ KHAAAAAALED. Guy is so famous he has to shout his name in his every song. I always wanted to make a rug out of him 😂
@@DubultaisTlmmfao😅

And then alternatively you’ve got MGK absolutely going OFF and they just let him roll mmao
More of these marathons please!
love the progression from testing everything out in early seasons to how much classier the latest ones are. props to everyone in production
"Another one" is definitely not what I DJ Khaled said here 😂
Do this style marathon video for every season!! 🎉
when rizzo said "he wasnt there that day" sean said "never again"
Right? We’re marathoning watching Sean become so bulletproof he can chill out WAY harder and just casually baffle huge celebs with his wild deep cuts
i saw dj khaled in the thumbnnail and literally laughed out loud at remembering his interview before i clicked
I love how it used to be like Sean being like, "so u gonna tap out?" ::: dead stare ::: Legend.
22:39 MGK doesn’t realize he’s telling on how Puff flew him out 🫣
DUDE FR

First we feast blessing us with an entire season of hot ones in one go. What a timeline!
Khaled really showed his true diva colors.
I was wondering why it was so short for a whole season and then I remembered that DJ Khaled took like 2 bites and bailed. 🤣🤣🤣
I feel like Gunplay was the first guy to properly engage with Sean in a fun way. First interview that was fun to watch. :)
It's so cool to see the original format
An absolute throwback
Chili Klaus! Absolute legend.
Beast Mode 😎🌶
This is Sean white belt! Amazing to see how far he went!

Bro keep these going. I am watching every single one of these no joke.
Let’s go!!! I’ve got the time and you’ve got the episodes!
Absolutely love you Sean!
Loving the safe words 😅
back when it was a competition and not really about the interview. the backwards hat always cracks me up
This is going to be perfect to fall asleep to!
I Remember all of this like it was last year! Season Marathons I am ready 🔥

Wow! Nearly 10 years of Hot Ones?!? Where did the time go? One year for each wing. I hope there's room for 10 more! 🍗🔥
Sean looks 19 years old season one episode one 👶🏼
It’s the crispy paper napkins that get me in the nostalgia
Finally, a full season video! Thank you!💖
You guys have come a LOOONG way since then! Can't wait for the other full season videos
We’ve come a long way
Together, through the hard times and the good

The evolution of Sean and Hot Ones has to be studied 🔥
Sean I am definitely convinced that you don't have any test bugs at all and I was shocked how well Machine did I know I would not be able to do that well
Sean getting "that was a good question" on the first question he ever asked made my heart smile
DH KHALID’S EPISODE STILL CRACKS ME UP TO THIS DAY 😂😂
So many rappers in Season 1
As a day one hot ones fan this is amazing !
I agree that there should be more marathons. Bring on Season 2!
Look how far you've come, you all should be SO proud!
These early episodes were some gems
I say we need more chili Klaus ❤
We love to see more compilations. They're enjoyable to watch.a
The evolution is crazy to see
From the very first episode when he tells Sean "If you keep going, imma keep going"... the look in Sean's eyes and the confident "alright!". A show was born.
I haven’t watched since the beginning so I LOVE that yall put them together. Makes bingeing so much easier! 🎉❤
Sean = cute as ever!
Watching this marathon makes me realize how much the editing has grown. Those cuts early on were brutal. Good job guys!
Khaled sure is something 😂
I've been waiting on an episode like this!! ❤
I can't believe that it took me this long to watch MGK freakout over hot wings.
Sean looks older and younger at the same time
You've gone such a long way! Congrats
Not MGK popping off for no reason 😆

I have such a crush on Chili Klaus. ❤ I genuinely hope this is going to be a series. Each season in one video. Great idea.
More of the same please! Keep up the brilliant work. Awaiting Marathon No2
Absolutely loved this look back at the very beginnings!
So is it true from what I remember you guys had said that Sean was originally not going to eat wings, until Tony Yayo called him out?
