I clean everyday and still at it every single day. Just like you, I have kids and clean as I go and when I come across whatever it may be. It just feels real nice and very relaxing when the house is cleaned and well put together. I absolutely can not deal with a messy place, because not only does it change your mood with it, but the misery feeling is the worst along with it.
SL MissGlam I clean every single day. I am 64 and have always taken great care of my home and everything I have. It’s worth it to keep things clean and nice. I don’t think of it as a chore but as a reflection of me.
I clean everyday but I like to do a deep clean ones a week...it will be nice to get them cars my daughter is turning two and she has a little car that she loves to drive

Yes! I always clean as I go. Because of quarantine, I’ve been working from home since March and am able to do it more so now. Anytime my daughter is done eating, I clean up her tray and vacuum right then if need be. I clean my kitchen after I make anything. It makes the evenings so much more relaxing cleaning as you go!

A cute kids play makeup vanity or a lil dress up clothes trunk would also be good gifts for the 2 age. My daughter also loved her kids sized easel to paint, color, and draw on. You can get ones that have a chalkboard side and other side for painting.

There is a 409 stone cleaner for marble granite and quartz. I have been using it for years with no staining and peeling on our marble countertops. I also seal it every other year just to make sure there are no stains. We also have marble floor in the dining room and we use the Method brand granite cleaner for those floors. Ikea has calfskin and lambskin rugs. I'm not sure if this will go with your style but it is an option to consider. As for gifts for the kids I would do bikes and roller skates if you haven't gotten them already. They seem really active and bikes and skates will be nice alternative to walks.
Hi Stephanie! Hope you're having a great day so far. I used to love cleaning but now I'm just so tired of it. So I find it easiest to clean when I make a mess; although I do deep cleaning every week. It is a lot of work when you have a big home. In your bedroom I was thinking maybe having too many mirrors is not a good idea. I think a painting of some sort can go above your dresser. I normally can come up with some great ideas for gifts but I can't think of anything. If I do, I'll let you know. Do you guys miss your pool? I'm thinking of adding a pool to our home but am not really sure yet. Thank you so much for the inspiration and motivation to clean. It's very much needed at times when you want cleaning to be on your don't do list. 😂

A house decor video giving tips & showing how to decorate w/o over doing it like a “less is more w/ house decor” cuz I find that I’ll clutter up my house getting too excited over the new decor for each season at Target, HomeGoods & Pier1. I’m especially guilty of shopping quite often & therefore I’m always over doing it w/ house decor trying to make it look cohesive, classy & chic but then my house just ends up looking too cluttered imo🤷🏼♀️

Today is my cleaning day this week. It's been a super busy week. But, I had a migraine last night, postdrome today...currently I'm in bed with vertigo. I'm debating taking gravol, but it'll knock me out, so either way I'm not doing anything for a few hours. But if I'm awake I can nag my teen to do stuff lol.
I wanted to watch your video yesterday, but was super busy, and then down with a migraine. So I'm enjoying it today. Got my coffee made before the vertigo hit.

If I had a house as large as yours I'd have to do it in segments like kitchen & pantry one day, then basement next day, girls bedroom/playroom the day after that, etc. I think an etched venetian mirror would look so beautiful over your bedroom dresser & match w/the side tables as well as the wallpaper. Try checking Zulily for area rugs. We got most of ours from there & have been satisfied with them, but you just have to read the details well. I'd suggest not buying anything under .40" in thickness otherwise it's just too thin & not worth the money.
