Definitely no prequest, sounds like you are extremely unlucky. I got it very fast, as did the other people I helped get it for at 25. I did see the streamer Zeroji took a long time to get it, but got it eventually. If it's too frustrating, you can group up and farm the trash outside, even a raid group works. This page has the mobs that drop it and the dropchances: www.wowhead.com/classic/item=7666/shattered-necklace The guys outside are 7% drop. So the expected value of mobs to kill is 14.
@@EsrohNchainS When I recorded this I was BM spec and using the 85% chimera. I'm now marksman though. It won't make any major difference except marks is a little faster.

wouldnt it just be easyier to get this neklace at level 37 as cant use till your level 37 anyway plus youll save like 5 7 minutes trying to kill the dam thing
It doesn't actually take that much longer to do it now if you're hunter, and I'd rather spend 20mins now while I'm otherwise raidlogging rather than 10 mins at 37 while I'm racing to 40!

Took me more like 15-20mins, not including travel time since I just did it on the way to get kargath FP. But yes, obviously all prep you do will take longer than it saves, if you want to just go relaxed and level a level a day for 2 weeks you're very welcome to, if you want to be a pumper and go for serverfirst 40 this sort of stuff is key. Also, it's fun and this is a game.

Any pre quest to this? 2 uldaman runs, 1 hour of solo elite farming as a 40, 0 drop. Starting to lose my mind

did this for an hour on my horde hunter and didn't see the necklace once
