I own civicX 1.8 . 18 km per liter is possible only on motorway at 100-110 km/h constant speed. Otherwise city driving even with light foot maximum 14km per liter

Talha Hassan I use total petrol, normal one. My average is 10.9 last 11000 km and 11.9 last 2150 km. Don’t push accelerator a lot, gently press it, try to keep below 2000 rmp. But it also depends on your route, if you have heavy traffic on your way your average will be bad whatever you do as you idle engine a lot and start off a lot. One more advice release accelerator pedal if you need turn ahead, red signal and etc as you just burn fuel for nothing and then break a lot which will wear your breaks too.

I was very worried what to do my average was very bad then I met my uncle who's a professional driver working for NHA (National highway authority). He said press the pedal very hard when you are about to move so that the car can shift from first gear to second quickly. Then keep the car acceleration above 1rpm and below 2rpm. Your I-Vtec or Vtech Civic engine will perform on engine capabilities until you reach speed of 100km/hr. After 100km/hr your car will take on petrol and below that, the engine will perform. Believe me I tried this and then within a week my Civic went from 8.9km/l to 9.8km/l fuel average. Most people don't believe me but this is true for Civic. Try this bro 👍
Also I'm talking about automatic transmission. I have a 2017 Civic 1.8cc and sometimes I use economical fuel mixed with high octane or otherwise normal economical fuel.
Talha Hassan how will it shift gears quickly if it has no gears? It CVT continues variable transmission. Pressing accelerator hard when starting off is not a good idea. And I don’t drive above 100 as I drive only in the city. You can read all the reviews and car experts the more you are gentle with accelerator the better fuel efficiency you have. Breaking less is also very important let car roll without pressing accelerator while reaching signals or spead breakers. Tire pressure also very crucial as deflated tires create more load to engine while moving

Drive with less variation in speed. Try to go in a flow ... Applying less brakes and tyre pressure of 34 in the FRONT wheels ans 33 in the rare wheels is the key along with a clean air filter
