Sir Jimi, it depends on the part of the body that touched the ground. I was a witness to a case of suicide involving a young man that jumped from a two story building. He landed with his head. When we ran to rescue him I saw him breathing blood. He died on the way to the hospital. This happened at the presence of his mother. He had returned to Enugu from Lagos three days earlier. Since then, he has been occasionally telling his mother that he wants to die. His mother kept rebuking him and telling him to desist from such utterances. On that faithful day, while he sat at the sitting room with his mother, he ran towards the window and dived using his head to break through the window glass which had no iron protector.
