Back in October when I filmed this episode I got really lucky with the weather. On that day it was sunny pretty much the entire time and shooting was a lot of fun. There is one shot in particular that I like a lot. In fact, I liked it so much that I put up on my wall. 😁
The Leica Q is such a fun camera to shoot with and for me it's hard to believe that I am rocking that thing since almost 7 years.
See you soon in the next one!

Excellent episode and photos, you're 100% correct about the Russian people they've not to blame for this terrible and unjust invasion, well-done for speaking out for our fellow people in Russia.
love watching theses i'm getting ever closer to getting my q2 mono and really excited
Totally agree Robin, well said.
We can't blame people who want nothing to do with this war solely based on their geographic location or their place of birth
*Power to all Photographers all over the World !!*
Great video again, love your work.
Thanks for sharing!
glad you said that about the people we should not hold them accountable !
the smoking lady is such a great shot!
Very good message at the start. This dehumanisation of russian people is not oke.
you're right my friend, great video also
Bravo what you said in the beginning!! No hate. Respect and peace and live and let live and exchange and stay interested for other countries and learning from each other.
You are a wise man, sir
I completely agree, it seems the night will be long but we must do what is in our hands wherever we are to make this world a better place, we hope for more great videos
Great msg at the start.
Great opinion on what's happening. Unfortunately most people don't understand this...
Thanks Robin, another enjoyable video. Only the other day I was wondering where you were and was relieved to see you were back in Mexico and not caught out in Russia. You're right about the impact on ordinary Russians. I feel really sorry for those people who are now cut off from the world physically, digitally and financially through no fault of their own.
nice statement population is not the problem on that war the elites behind is the problems and making the problems for many decades ago. nice street photography videos as always and inspiring to other photographers and what happen to your leica Q2 monochrome? did you sell it?
Well said.
Finally some one with some humanity in these obscure time. Thank you for stressing this point. In these kind of wars, the ones that are suffering the most are the common people from both sides.
Hi Robin, I totally agree on our initial thoughts of the video. I have Ukrainian family in Mykolaiv that have lost everything they had in life, but I also have quite some Russian photography friends. Kind people! Discussions are sometimes difficult (depending on the information they get) but we are still friends. Throughout history it has happened time and time again that one person gets too much power and that always ends in misery for the common man. The Russian people can do something about the situation. They should say to Putin: We gave you power, you took too much of it, we want it back. And, yes I know, that will take a lot of courage.
On the video I definitely get that this was pretty much a perfect day. The light was gorgeous, the photos of the smoking lady fantastic and the photo of the bus stop epic. Not only great layers but fantastic colors as well. Looking forward to the next one!
The media is also a big problem because they report very one sided and on top of that they are spreading lies and false information 24/7. If you look at the whole picture, it's easy to see who is to blame for what's going on.
@@therealsirrobin Yeah, Putin! Putin is to blame! The media coverage is sympathetic to the Ukrainian people & rightly so. Stop with the conspiratorial bullsh*t, if a dictator invaded your country you would expect right minded people to support a resolution that didn't depend on your nations surrender. There is no equivalence between what the Ukrainians are going through & what the Russian people are going through anyone that thinks it's even remotely similar is pretty dumb.
@@therealsirrobin 💯🎯
Insane pictures! 🔥
Well said Robin. Another nice episode. Keep them coming!
Great shots 👌
Last photo is insane mate!!
I was just wondering about you this morning
Danke für deinen Kommentar eingangs des Videos
Russia is a beautiful country worth visiting.
your first min is the best you have ever done so far. Russians in general has not done anything wrong. you are an example for the west public. writing from latin america, kudos
Very nice Pictures
👍for 20 miles of street photography from morning to late afternoon.
Great Comment !
The 4 pics presented by the lady who smokes are amazing! ! ! Especially the last one! I have always supported your channel. I hope to do better and better. Simply photography sharing does not participate in politics. Come on!

Спасибо за твои слова
I love Saint Petersburg's episodes. I'm afraid I'll miss new ones for a while 🙁
❤️
Nice! :)
So, you are in Mexico? You coming to queretaro?
Nice to see you're out of Russia. I was thinking about you over there getting stuck or not being able to post from there anymore. Stay safe... Awesome channel...
Wouldn’t normally agree with political comments on a channel like yours, but this i do. Has to be said. And now back to the rest of the content. Another great show. Thank you.
I agree Robin, the people of Russia don't want this war and we can't blame them. I hope this gets resolved peacefully soon. Take care
Hi, new subscriber here. I notice you crop to 4:3, any reason why? I prefer this aspect ratio but always frame as well as I can in camera, which means adhering to the typical 35mm framelines. I wish you could see the 4:3 aspect ratio in camera!
Exactly, there are good people on both sides. Anyways, always love your videos Robin 🤩
gutes Statement!
Exactly, never people should be judged by their government! We see that with Russian these days, same apply for Chinese people, especially with COVID and all the stupid hate.
Otherwise, great video, and wonderful pictures, as always 👍👍
Love the shots in this! Well worth such a long walk. You're right - normal Russian people are not responsible for what's happening and it's a crime that their lives will also be made much harder by the actions of their vile leader.
March 15 2022,
Leica has suspended all business in Russia until further notice and closed the Leica Store in Moscow.
Die Leica Camera AG hat alle Russlandgeschäfte bis auf Weiteres eingestellt und den Leica Store in Moskau geschlossen.
Повременил бы ты, Сэр Робин, с публикацией фоточек/котиков из России
Sorry to say, but we CAN blame the people. As long as they stand behind their leader and don’t do anything to stop them, they are supporting the war. If the Russian people did something to stop/remove the leaders I would trust them. But for now we dont see any sign of that. So please… Russians if you want to stop the war, revolt!
But I still enjoy yours videos 👍🏼
Nice photos, beautiful golden light.👏🏻
I’m always a bit surprised when people buy an expensive full frame camera and then zone focus it at f/16, with everything in focus front to back… you could get the same results on a $700 micro4/3 camera, tbh.
There are countries where the people are really servile. They are a perfect match for their terrible rulers.
I pity the conscientious few who risked their lives to take to the streets in protest.
How many times Vladimir Putin being elected to be President?
May God Bless the Ukrainian and Russian mothers. It is sad so many of their children are being killed. None of them want this War.
No worries man. I know the general Russian population has nothing to do with the Ukraine invasion.
Welcome back to Mexico. Nice to see the normal side of Russia. They didn't have any more choice than we did choosing between flavours of ruling class. Hopefully Ukraine can fend off the imperialists and get back to fixing their own internal issues.
