I’ve made a few videos which help slowly improve that ability. But it does take time, consistency, and developing a strong understanding of fretboard theory

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Friedman. Sounds incredible. I agree about the better options.
I have a Gibson Custom shop DC Jr that I basically just got to have a Gibson. It’s a great guitar but I constantly feel like it’s not worth what I paid.
I also had a similar experience like this with Haar guitars. They make custom shop level instruments for 2k and it’s crazy. Aged, broken in, great sounding and feeling guitars.

Sweet axe. Is there a way of knowing whether a Friedman guitar was built by Shabat, Grover or the new guy? Does it say on the certificates?
Eastman LP type guitars are insanely amazing also. I have plenty of high end Gibsons & they are in cases. Because of playability & tone.

Yea Buddy has one it was pretty epic. I play my ESP LTD EC1000 more than my traditional most times, Plays better stays in tune better

If you think their guitars are good, wait until you try the BE100 Deluxe or the 50 Small Box.
Gibsons are $1000 value guitars. If their headstock shape wasn't trademarked that is what they'd be going for.

Ever try Heritage? The guys from the original Gibson Kalamazoo plant. They're more Gibson than Gibson and their QC is way better.
Heritage is currently under newer ownership and all or most of the old guard have retired from there. Possible reasons for the Gibson litigation which was recently settled.
I do not like Heritage, it feels cheap
