The cars on the final bridge in the Parish campaign are an exception. The devs decided that being hit by a car there should be less painful (just taking a chunk of HP instead of downing you), since otherwise the tank would consistently wreck the team during that hectic run. 🤏🙂
If you meant the tank hit the car and bounce off, it’s a feature to the game. Tanks can somewhat throw cars but they can’t do it accurately (for example, if the tank gets close enough to a car & the tank hits the car, the car will react to it by bounced of moved at the opposite direction of the tank) and if a tank hits the car bounces off and hits a player, it will do damage to them.
