Paul Stacey is that POET but not too many NOET. Excellent player, producer and all around musician. Loved his time with New Earth Mud and his short stint with the Black Crowes!
His work on steven wilsons refuge is fucking awesome
I saw him with the new earth mud in Houston so many years ago. Such a great guitar player!
Beautiful jam. Jason Scheff has always been one of my fav vocalists in all of the Chicago iterations. Good to see him still jamming.
100% Agree, Josh Smith is the best living pure blues player IMO. There are A LOT of good blues players these days keeping the thing alive. But Josh does a special thing with tradition, you could transport him to any era of the blues and his sound would be recognisable but interesting to contemporary listeners I think.
Josh is SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. Damn!! Blues with some jazzy flavor...dude can play anything!
Love all of Paul’s work with Chris Robinson
I love those big Gibsons.
Josh is amazing , it's hard to capture his energy on his albums
Good thing there's so much live footage of him on YT, check out the channel 1anitrasdance for some great Josh Smith videos + much more.
Live for these jams. Thanks all.👍
Brilliant jam, as usual from Norm
If Josh Smith is involved I know it is going to be awesome. Right again.
How are people looking at guitars on the wall in the background rather than realising they are in the presence of greatness 🤔
love that sg had one when I was a kid( not that one) but brings back memories great guys ice to see some quality musicians play the classics
Very cool jazzy blues jam. Great job guys.
Some very cool playing!
Cool story. Awesome jam. Happy new year!
Smooth & cool! Yeah!
Music makin me melt away here in Michigan
Eye wateringly good :) I just need a newspaper, a cup of tea and some sunshine now!! Happy new year to all from sunny Scotland.

Josh !!
Song called Soul Serenade by magnificent King Curtis
Reminds me of Sugaree
why is it that at the strat he sounded like he was about to start rapping lmao.
That SG body looks like is was made in a garage by a first year wood worker the MESA has the aluminum dome of death I can see EC standing next the Music Man stack!!!!!!!!!!! the jam went of the rails.. Smith looks looks he wants to be somewhere else
EXCELLENT MUSICIANS ALL
3 GREAT INSTRUMENTS
3 GREAT INSTRUMENTALISTS
JASON SCHEFF'S FATHER PLAYED WITH ELVIS ALRIGHT AND HE WAS A WORKHORSE IN THE LA STUDIO SCENE
HE PLAYED WITH THE DOORS IN THE STUDIO BEFORE JIM MORRISON WENT TO FRANCE & GAVE UP THE GHOST
'RIDERS ON THE STORM'
A RELIABLE BASS MONSTER
KING CURTIS OPENED FOR DA BEATLES @ SHEA STADIUM
HE WAS CONCERTMASTER FOR MOST OF THE HORNS AT ATLANTIC RECORDS
HE WAS STABBED IN THE HEART WITH AN ICE PICK WHEN HE WENT TO HELP ONE OF THE TENANTS OF HIS APARTMENT BUILDING IN NYC WHO WAS ROBBED OUTSIDE ON THE SIDEWALK
HIS "SOUL TWIST" IS A GREAT SONG THAT I STILL PLAY ON
"SOUL SERENADE" IS A FUNKY LYRICAL SONG THAT'S FUN TO JAM OUT ON ✔️
THESE 3 GUYS CAN PLAY
LAY OUT THOSE CHORDS
I'M SURE THESE GUITARS COME WITH USABLE CHORDS
What a terrible way to go, just trying to help others out.
Curtis was stabbed on August 13, 1971, during an argument with a pair of drug dealers he discovered on the steps outside his Manhattan apartment. Curtis was attempting to carry an air conditioner into his apartment when Juan Montanez refused to move from the entrance. A fight ensued and Montanez stabbed Curtis. Curtis was transferred to Roosevelt Hospital, where he died.
GREATER THAN ELVIS.....FOR JASON SCHEFF
Why so much _reverb?_
Why is this so boring? And "heard it all before"?
