- What a trek back to Bonneville - but I couldn't NOT come back when I had the chance to license up and have a potential chance to set a record. Overall, this was such an incredible experience and I can't wait to get back out soon. Thank you to the BC Racing Team for making this possible, the SCTA for being so welcoming as well as the rest of the LSR family, and my family for going back and forth to make this all possible. I can say for sure now that I am hooked!

What an amazing job of the filming and editing. Thank you, Meg, for all your hard work and the hour it takes
is Meg her sister?
the female/female dialogue before her first pass was epic..two like minded humans communicating at a life/death level..EPIC !
the sister on sister chat was kinda emotional. great seeing meg supporting alex (i suppose the support is mutual too)
Megan: Thanks for recording and stitching together all of these videos!!! Wonderful work. 🥇
Alex your mum and dad must so proud of you . Your such a great role model for young girls 👌
The view from inside of the push truck, when the car starts to pull away gives me chills every single time.
Yes that it such a great shot to see her hammer down 👍
The first videos had me pushing on the foot stool under my computer desk, as she did the runs. The runs in this video literally gave me chills. I really wanted to see her set a new record and I agree it was so cool to hear and see her actually push the car and engine.
What a crew you have helping you with this. The guys with the car, absolutely top notch. They’re literally falling over each other double and triple checking each safety parameter. Meg is a godsend, plus she can poke your ears back when needed 😜…. Lol. Congratulations sweetie! Another job well done for all!
I found Meg's contributions truly outstanding. Imagine being the official ear poker.
Mega-Pain 😁
Yes can you imagine how much knowledge they have between them all? Alex is in good hands for sure!
My favorite part of this series has been watching the old dudes build a relationship with Alex and embrace it. Alex I hope you keep doing this.
@ClickOnProfile007 ooh I haven't seen this trash in a minute. Can I have 1 million dollars?
love seeing the interaction between you sisters and the crew and owners that treat you like they would treat their own daughters. very heartwarming.
Wow. What it takes to be an "in demand driver" is unreal! You rock li'l girl!
Congrats on making the 200mph red hat club sister! You are officially at the Bonneville cool kids table!🎉
She set a record ?
Nope doesn't work that way. You have to go over 200 and break an existing record to become a member of it.
@@scottnorris8571 Nope and no hat.
@@milwscruffy Didn't think so, unless a hell of a lot has changed ! Won top speed of the meet and didn't get a Blue hat !!
@@scottnorris8571 no, just got her A license
Meg did good to be the first time but Keith has it figured out.❤
Thank you Alex, Meg and everyone involved in this speed record adventure. Going to Bonneville is on my bucket list, now more than ever. It's all fascinating and has been a joy watching you. Thank you for taking me a long.
Thank you, Meg, for your efforts to bring us these daily updates! Loved the "wanna do the math on that?" conversation. Just casually discussing, "Really need to enter closer to 250 and exit at 270." - you know, like this is no different than making a grocery run to Krogers. And I'm like, "Holy crap; do you ever get to actually put BOTH HANDS on the steering wheel?!?!" Two-hundred plus on that washboard surface with just the left hand on the wheel. I'd pee my pants... Alex, you rock! This was a great series!
I feel the emotion watching you go through this process. Also a big shout out to Megan for sticking with you through the thick and thin of all your filming etc. 🙂👍. Thank you for sharing such a great experience.
You could see the worry on Meg's face when talking before the run this is definitely pushing the edge racing!!!
The Beautiful Taylor sisters always makes my day to see you both.
Alex I admire your passion for racing. Keep up the great work and congrats.
Congratulations Alex!!! Meg you are AWESOME also!!! Your crew is also AWESOME!!! That salt is SLICK with all that horsepower and you handled it like a BOSS LADY!!!! Your parents, family and friends are no doubt extremely proud of you two young ladies.
This was a awesome series. Congratulations on your A license!
Thanks Meg for turning the videos around for us
Thank you Meg for your hardworking with the daily uploads.
Love how Megan and Alex work so well together -- both very smart and confident is what they're doing. I'm going to guess that Alex is maybe a year older?
Yes, dailies are good! Thanks Meg! Congrats on the A license Alex!
Girl! That crew had your back! Super cool much love for them, very genuine people that wanted the best for you! Event the Bonneville refs where all rooting for you! Great job! That crew is so nice and positive! Much love and respect to them! ❤🤘👍👊👌
Thanks MVP Meg, Alex and everyone who made this possible
Shout out to meg for being there to help you with probably more then we know shes the shit! You have such a great team and group of friends to help you and support you through this awesome journey
pursuing a dream is never a waste. it's an opportunity to advance knowledge in pursuit of that dream. Kudos on a phenomenal week!
Great job seeing Alex and Meg working together! Great to experience all of this together.
So dam happy for you and you should be proud 98 percent of people on this earth don’t have what it takes to do that kind of speed
Good work Alex and Meg, you make a great team. Loved the Bonneville content.
Thank you Megan for the awesome work that you do,it is outstanding!
I am very impressed! Your crew, car owners, family, etc, are all awesome. You are just a natural, and have a gift for this. I can't wait to see you come back and take a record!!
I really enjoy watching the record-holders, Roger, Tim, Keith, etc. help and pass along their passion for the sport to the next generation. Really cool to see them share likely only a small fraction of their land speed racing knowledge. Greta job Alex, Taylor family, & all other team members!
Loving my fellow Arkansas showing her talent! We run these backroads😂 Mark Martin and many other
OLD PHART HERE (74) I HEARD WHEELS SLIPPING ON SALT 1st RUN...AWSOME GIRL!!!! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A 200 MPH JACKET...DREAMS...YOU GO GIRL!!! WELL DONE!!!!
Awesome job Alex and Meg is really doing great with the videos.
Thanks, Meg for the daily updates. Ya'll are living the life.
Was so excited for this video. You looked so exhausted. But what courage and effort you put into this. I admire your willingness to keep going. I was also impressed with the crew that was behind you 100%. It was nice to see both their respect for you and their clear concern and affection. That was impressive. Great job Alex! Proud of you.
Kudos, massive respect to all involved. The wider racing family is loaded with great people and we’ve just had the pleasure of tagging along with them all for the ride.
Thank you Alex, Meg and especially your long suffering and eternally cheerful Mom for taking us with you.
Thanks too to all of the unsung heroes who together make it all possible, the scrutineers, the marshals, the emergency services and the organisers, you are the backbone and the heart of motorsport in all of its disciplines.
Here’s to next year, Alex.
Cheers, R 😎👍🍻
spinning up the rear tires @ 200 + must be a heartbeating moment..driving on that crater infested salt is not a real fun deal either..Alex...you have The Right Stuff !!!!!
Great job on telling us the Bonneville race story. Fantastic job on getting your AA license . Love all the videos.
what a great week, thank you for taking us along for the ride. thank you Dennis for keeping us up to day on facebook. Thank you meg for the late nights editing and getting the content out for us. Cant wait to see Dennis build a land speed car.. come on.,..we all know Alex will try to talk him into it.. lol
Just imagine how you would of gone on a dry track. When the salt is wet or damp and gluey I would think you sure to spin up the tyres really enjoyed this journey. You and your crew and the team with the car. Did us proud. Your mum and dad must be over the moon.
My wife and I watched every second of this series. The community that chases those records is so dam special.
“777 on the track”
We have a family member that drove the worlds fastest Caddy! Last I asked he holds some 30+ land speed records.
Great video. Thanks for letting us all follow along. I must say I enjoyed seeing the interaction between Alex and Meg. Reminds me of my two daughters.
Though I've never been to speed week, I've followed it for years. The scta is such an amazing organization. You will be hooked on it from here on out. Congratulations on your A license. That's no small feat
Excellent job! " if it rotates, it breaks"! All part of going fast! Two thumbs up!
These guys went from treating you like a rookie to treating you like an equal. The crew took such good care of you I bet your father was relieved. What an achievement you’re now a land speed driver!
My gosh can't imagine the feeling blowing the tires off at those speeds, great job driving keeping her straight Alex. You need a custom painted helmet Alex. Something cool from Troy Lee maybe.
I second that what a top notch crew, the attention to detail and safety is unbelievable
One hell of a week for all. My respect for you as a driver went up a few notches above where it already was. Getting back to back to back certifications is a rare thing between weather and parts breakages both of which the team handled well. Love the walk thru of the process too. Very informative. Maybe they make you the new team drver and you do this each year until you talk dad into building you one hahaha.
Thank you for the daily videos Meghan and good luck Alex in whatever y'all doing
Amazed Megan is happy enough to be your biggest supporter
I keep telling you Alex you're killing me with the anticipation I didn't think you were going to make it back you could have gave us a hint LOL. now that I watched the whole video Congratulations on your 200 mile an hour license and it sucks the car broke but you gave it everything you had, and like I said this was great entertainment.
I think most of us would kill to have your lifestyle, great success for first time at Bonneville 🔥💪
Congratulations Alex for going 200 mph, I hope you had a blast. You and you sister are beautiful even when tatterd.
I hope you get another chance at a record, I will be waiting.
Alex, you never cease to amaze me! (Brought a tear to this old man's eye).
AWESOME job Miss Alex.
Congratulations to you and the entire team.
You are a WARRIOR and fighter and unbelievable person and i always believe in you Alex and have faith! ❤
One hell of a job Alex! You get some more seat time girl, and it will be awesome next year. They said go and you went. Then the drive shaft goes. Racing! You are awesome girl!
Alex you did AWESOME! Megan you are such an AWESOME sister and your filming and editing is SOOOO GOOD!
Huge respect to everyone and what a car!!! A licence Alex done superb 👏 next time gonna hit that AA 👍
What an incredible experience! I have GOT to get out to Speedweek one day. Well done Alex, and big thumbs up to all your crew that made this happen! And Meg, for getting it all down!! See you on the salt soon, the bug got you then...
Thanks for the daily uploads, Meg. Alex, you got a hell of a team.
Great people helping always matters.. I love what you guys do and keep the vids coming... Well done!
Congratulations on getting your A license, that a huge accomplishment for a rookie Salt Flats Racer.
Looking forward to watching you get your AA license
I was soooo happy to see how much skill this requires, I worried that if you set a record people wouldnt' give you any credit but lighting it up around 200mph and fishtailing is right up your alley, can't wait to see you in the record books 🤗
You are an incredible woman!!!👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Bonnreville has been on my bucket list forever. Almost gave up on the idea.... but you have invigorated my passion to attend. Have been a street rodder,/ drag racer all my life but your inside scoop on the process has been incredibly inspiring. Thank you so much!!
Thanks for all the great coverage of the land speed racing. That's not something we get to see much of in the racing world. Great job Alex and Meg.
You have an amazing family and great group of friends. I'm glad to see everybody takes care of one another. I'm so amazed at the safety of the organization. Meg did a great job at filming and safety. That was a first-time Journey when it comes to Bonneville for me. I look forward to you guys doing that again.
HI GREAT FIRST RUN ! THE REAR END ROBBED YOU !! THANK YOU . TODD IN MICHIGAN .
This was a badass series. Props to everyone involved. Great to get a taste of the salt.
Awesome!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this land speed racing with you! Now you and your Dad have to build a land speed car. Lol
A giant nerd gumball machine! even better! You did awesome, so much fun to watch didnt even realize an hour had passed ty for taking everyone with you on your journey and ty meg!! Record break will be the next time yall out there! Best of luck!
Simply Marvelous, Awesome ride, crew, Driver, nothing but positive motion going to happen, Ajoy to watch. Thx for sharing.
Sorry the car broke but you are a record holder for all of us. Good luck at Road Kill Nights. Thanks Meghan for the videos.
Congratulations, Alex!! How awesome!
I’d definitely have ditched Roadkill Nights for this too! What a dream! Thanks for recording for all of us to enjoy!
I was watching the scta live stream friday morning. My heart sunk for you when the car broke on your last pass. I got to chat with Tim Cox's daughter on the chat some this past week she seems like a great girl. Awesome video Alex. Meg I love the daily uploads. lol You do a great job editing the videos!
Glad you had a good time and were safe. It was also nice to meet you there! Come back when the salts better and get that record!
That was a great look at the inner workings of racing on the salt, thank you!
These videos you guys did for this were outstanding! I could feel it. What a great team EVERYONE was. You rock Alex. CONGRATS!
Bummer parts break.
On the great hand, know what a best friend is.
Awesome time with the salt folks going fast.... over a 1/4 mile.
The crew and Bonneville is truly amazing. They get it. What a freaking experience that had to be.
Maybe next year it can be Team Peak Alex Taylor and Derek from VGG! that would be amazing
200+ MPH!!!! The Most Exciting Motor Sports, tapping the feet waiting for your next pass and post!! Outstanding!!
Man !!! You are living my dream !!! Your so lucky to be able to race the salt flat !!!
That was an Awsome week of content and driving to the whole crew it was very cool to see them work with you alex to make you feel right at home keep up the great work Meg until the next video
GREAT JOB MEG, LOVED THE VIDEO"S!!!
What an amazing experience for you! I know you will be back out there going 250+mph!!
Don't know how else to put this other than incredible! Absolutely top notch from start to finish. The video work is amazing. Talent from top to bottom. And youcan drive Alex. You can really drive. You know how to feel the machine and what it can and can't do. You're awesome kiddo! Can't Wait to see what's next. ❤
Awesome job Alex! Congrats on your achievement and new licence Your friend Meg is gorgeous!
This series has been so good. I've never had any real interest in this type of racing beyond the obvious ultimate world record but, this has been fascinating to watch. I love the attention to detail shown, especially regarding safety. It's such a niche discipline and everyone seems so supportive and encouraging. Looking forward to seeing more of this content.
Now that takes real skill and courage. Driving at over 200mph is one thing, but doing it on a low traction surface like salt is another thing all together. Well done Alex.
So to make it plain , she was driving the heck out of that car keeping it straight because the car never hooked up to reach the full speed . Now I'm convinced I'm in love
Alex and Meg great job both and of course Mom……go fast , great edit too.
Outstanding videos, I've really enjoyed them. The editing is some of the best I've seen on CZcams lately. Alex, congratulations !! Well done !! I like the fact that your sister is the one who tuckes you in, too. And yes ma'am I do on the daily uploads. I am really curious about what car your dad will build to try and take the record. I hope that y'all get Nick and Maddy to help build the car. That'll be right up his alley, a land speed car. Good luck. Congratulations !!
Amazing young lady... Hate Keith and Tonya missed being there... know they were there in spirit... Cant wait to see ya break 250 on the salt...
Congratulations Alex! Thank you Meg for all the editting, great vids.
How does one get 21,000 views in 4 hours? (world class celebrity maybe! ) Alex had a challenge at that off road course. Its not easy and requires total concentration for a little more than well, 7 seconds. A different world. Great opportunity and great job. Thanks to all involved and to Meg for the video work and helping with my video addiction so I did not have to stay in suspense too long!!
The woman who said always check with the bikers, she was awesome! Great people there! She is definitely team Alex!!! Like all of us! Congratulations Alex
Congrats on the A license your first time out, very impressive. I must say your seemed less settled without (is it ) Kieth setting you in the car? But wow you broke a drive shaft, we do that in 4x4 all the time, due to commitment :) and I guess did the same hehe. I'm sure it won't be your last attempt and believe u would do the record with some more planning. We look forward to seeing RKN and we hope Meg can deliver again, Thank you for the content. And Although I agree we should stay pretty 😁 I wish you mostly stay safe.
