Franklin Graham, son of the late Rev. Billy Graham, shared a message of hope in Blackpool in September 2018.
In this, the final night of the Festival of Hope, he preaches on the story of Bartimaeus (Mark 10), the story of a blind man who lost all hope.

Good example of Jesus looks for the people that are willing to serve him at every cost. Example, artamaias yelled after jesus and people tried to shut him up but artamaias yelled out all the more. Then jesus paid him attention. We must be willing to sacrifice anything for christ. Then christ will shine his glory on us.

Franklin, and all my brethren. We have to know our sins, which means it's in the book of Exodus 10 commandments. The book of leviticus the book of deuteronomy and 7 deadly sins.. Idolatry is the biggest and that is covered in materialistic. Food provisions TV holidays, man's traditions, cultures, memorials and such. It is in the law of God, not to do these things. Everything has to be on to God every day. We should be in the word with one another. Walking and fellowship in amongst. Our Mankind, we're not doing this. This needs to be preached.
In every letter to every church in the Book of Revelation, Jesus said, "To him who overcomes" or "He who overcomes". Overcomes what? Well, the same John that wrote Revelation wrote 1 John 5:4 "Everyone born of God (born-again) overcomes THE WORLD ..." The ideologies, mindsets, tactics, ways of attaining position, power, wealth, prestige, fame or anything else that is of THIS world are replaced with faith (submission under the Lordship of Jesus Christ; and following Him as His word states). If we are still operating like the world operates, then we are not yet born again. Only those who "overcome the world" are given the reward that Jesus promises in those very verses.

Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." But Jesus was not finished speaking yet. Later after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven He said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). Peter said in Acts 4:12,"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED." Paul said in Colossians 3:17,"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by HIM." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And you are COMPLETE in him, which is the head of all principality and power." Also verse 12, "BURIED with him in BAPTISM, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead."
The book of Acts is the most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and his disciples said what we must do to be Saved, which is what Jesus meant in John 3:3-7, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND the of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water in Jesus name - which is for the Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Mark 16:17 (Jesus speaking) Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:2-5 is a good example.
Some say the thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not baptized in Jesus Name but Jesus was not finished speaking yet. He did not give the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven, therefore the thief could not do it because he did not know about it.

SALVATION
It's Christ’ work on the cross that saves us. We just need to we believe and put our
trust in His death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins.
This is the simple plain gospel that saves us today. Not works, not confessing,
not baptism, not a prayer and not trying to stop sinning (though we should once
we are saved). Anything added to the gospel work of Christ is a false gospel.
It's only by God's grace that we are given the opportunity to believe and trust
the true, simple gospel. I Cor 15:1-4.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law,
then Christ is dead in vain.
Let me give you bible verses that tell us how to be saved at this time.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Titus
3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy
Ghost;
3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the
hope of eternal life.
Conclusion:
All we need to do to be saved is believe the gospel that Jesus died for our
sins, was buried and rose from the dead. And by putting our trust in that
gospel alone for the forgiveness of our sins, we are saved forever and have
eternal life.
2Tim 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these
things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.

To clarify the gospel of our salvation: Our gospel that saves us today is to believe Jesus died, shedding His blood, was buried and rose from the dead for the forgiveness of our sins. I Cor 15:1-4. That's step one. Step two: We must put our trust in this gospel for the forgiveness of our sins and nothing else, to be saved. It's that simple. Paul puts it this way:
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
We are not saved by repenting (turning from sin), being baptized in water, walking an aisle, saying a prayer, confessing with your mouth, being “born again”, or following Jesus’ earthly ministry. Those are mostly "works" salvation. We are saved by grace not works (Rom 11:6), through faith alone, in Christ work on the cross. It is a gift 100%. Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6, I Cor 15:1-4
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He came to save sinners, not people trying to make themselves righteous by doing some kind of good work or turning from their sins, they can't that do anyway.
Simply believe and put your trust in the gospel Paul gave us from Jesus. Then start reading Rom - Phil to understand what was written to us the body of Christ, so we could know what God wants from us and who we are in Christ, once we are saved. The books Paul wrote are the only place we find the gospel that saves us today. Then read the rest of your bible that is for us but not to and about us. 94% of the bible is to and about Israel. Don’t steal their mail and try to make it yours. And don’t be fooled by people who tell you, you need to do some work to be saved or to stay saved. That is not the gospel for us today which is a free gift of GRACE when we believe. Eph 2:8-9.
