The best Chocolate Chip Cookies, Classic Chocolate Cookies,

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ghee or melted butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon Chocolate essence
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of shredded chocolate or chocolate chip
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C.
In a large bowl,whisk together the sugar, salt, butter or ghee until smooth paste.
Whisk in egg and chocolate essence,sift the flour and baking soda,mix well.
Fold in the shredded chocolate, chill the dough for 30 minutes.
Make small balls, place onto parchment paper lined baking tray.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Cool completely,enjoy!
