- yup we DID it guys!!!! what the heck!!! I BOUGHT MY FIRST HOUSE!!!! WITH BELLO!!! can you believe it? Thirteen-year-old me is doing cartwheels of joy right now. i've been dreaming about this moment since my braces were still a fashion statement. I finally get to call a place my forever home and design it exactly how I always dreamt of!!! I can't wait to turn this place into the ultimate sanctuary of fun and eclectic vibes~ I always dreamt of this day. for many reasons, one being able to feel stability in life, to be able to create my own safe space and to be able to get creative and design my own space with absolutely NO rules!!! because RULES SUCK!!
this isn't just any house; it's a mid-century gem built in 1954 that's begging to be restored to its former glory. bello and I are on a mission to de-modernize it and bring back all the timeless charm of its mid-century era. picture vintage furniture, mcm materials like wooden walls and a primary color palette. everything but MODERN.
the cherry on top is that i get to share it with my best friend and the love of my life. bello and I both bought this house together and I can't wait to see what adventures we’ll have in our cozy new home!!! It’s not just a house; it’s a dream come true, a testament to stability and proof that if you set your mind to something and work really hard you can achieve everything!!!

Oh, I wish those ceiling beams were wood tone and not painted! The tongue and groove wood ceiling was probably gorgeous before it was painted also. If this is in Florida, it's most likely Dade County Pine which is beautiful and durable. Our 1955 Pompano Beach home has it. 😍

That bedroom is a dream, the ceilings, the fireplace, all of it it’s stunning and that’s just the beginning I’m in love with it all, the kitchen 😍but more importantly it is so perfect for you guys.
My husband and I flipped homes on the side before we had kids, back in the day you signed checks to buy things all the time I was watching my grandmother sign her name and realized that she didn’t sign her entire name and I’m like is that legal and she said no one stopped her from doing it for the last 50 years. At that very moment I changed the way I signed my name now it did screw with voting they didn’t believe I was who I was because my signature had changed and believe it or not I am 53 years old and I still will have an issue once in a while because my original signature is so different but when you have to sign that many papers it’s totally worth it, I sign my capital S and then there’s a squiggly kind of thing and I go into my R then another squiggly, at the doctors office, buying homes I can sign paperwork so quickly it would make you laugh. Something to think about you’re still so young you can do it too. It’s just not something I would suggest doing in your late 30s or something.
