      Stage 2.Found that stage 2 + ramps my boost up to 18-21psi.I just want to be careful of turbo reliablity.At stage 2 its running about 15-16 psiThe outlet is good to upgrade,as the back turbo outlet pipe is crushed to go around the steering rack on righthand drive cars.Inlets are good also,but can be expensive to fit,a pain in the arse.They mean your turbos aren’t having to work as hard,more power,reliablity.😀

    • @ElliottBrooks

    Looking into one of those as well (as summer car) but unfortunatelly in germany but its nearly impossible to even get a sub 150k km manual one for under 22k euros. For the same money you can get a lower milage M235 with the N55 engine like the 135 LCI. Really sucks that the 2 series (excluded the M2) looks kinda ugly tbh.
    Edit: There are some nice "bodykits" for the 2series (especially front and rear bumper) but most of those aren't legal in germany because they are "unsafe" which makes no sense at all most of the time but ay thanks germany... :(

    • @ElliottBrooks
      @ElliottBrooks  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah I’ve heard Germany is very strict with mods. 22k euro is like 35k AUD. That’s very expensive for a 10yr old car! The M235 would be a nice car to own. Looks wise the M2 is much nicer, are any of the parts tradeable? You can put 1M parts on a 135i (which I’ll hopefully do one day). Hopefully being BMW and not a aftermarket bodykit it may get past the German rules

    • @Admonitor_
      @Admonitor_ Před 3 lety +1

      @@ElliottBrooks Yeah the laws on mods are kinda dumb tbh. For example you can't just put in any intake in your car, it has to be one approved by TUV otherwise it gets marked as unsafe, and legaly you aren't allowed to drive the car on the roads anymore (since the approvement by TUV costs the maker of the part a lot of money, most of the tuning parts don't have the TUV approval)
      Looking forward for that. For me the 1M is one of the best looking coupes ever made in my opinion, thats why I'm searching for a 135 as a little "baby 1M" that can be converted to a 1M quite easy (with it even passing german regulations since there is a company selling a 1M kit that is approved if I don't want to go for original BMW parts).
      The only thing driving me to the M235 is the tech (I'm kind of a sucker for newer tech in cars) but if the time comes and if I find a good 135 I think I can get past that and get it^^
